What To Expect

Meet up with your guide and group in the morning in central Los Angeles at a pre-arranged meeting point. Receive a helmet and get a short safety session in proper Segway operation before heading out.

During the course of your ride you’ll enjoy insightful narration from your guide about the history and modern-day landmarks of this unique area of Los Angeles. Learn about the evolution of the area as it morphed from an unpaved farm road in the 1920s into one of the city’s most important commercial and cultural areas in the present day. You’ll also hear about the influence of A.W. Ross, the real estate developer responsible for much of the area’s development.

As you roll along on your electric-powered scooter, you’ll also admire architectural landmarks like the May Company Building, today the home base for the art museum LACMA West, and see the Petersen Automotive Museum. Those looking for a little dose of Hollywood glamour will enjoy passing the offices of E! Entertainment Television and Spelling Productions, two entertainment firms where celebrities are sometimes known to mingle.

You’ll finish back at your original departure point at the end of the ride.
