Our guide, Diana, was pleasant, sometimes funny, organized, knowledgeable and sharing of her love of the history of Spain and Toledo along with the winery that we visited on the way back to Madrid. The tour was as described. The driver was very good and I felt safe on the road. The only two things that I would change are: more leg room on the bus and more free time in Toledo. Would recommend as a great day excursion from Madrid.

Great tour!

Laura was a great guide! She kept the group accounted for in all areas. She gave great unbiased history in madrid and toledo. She took photos for us and answered all questions. At the winery, she clearly translated for Sergio about the winemaking process. We LOVED the tour and Laura was absolutely wonderful! We would highly recommend the tour from madrid to toledo. Thank you also to Jorge for your excellent and smooth driving!

The views of Toledo were interesting. We rode up quite a few escalators built into the mountain to access the city above from where the buses park. After the city visit, we had a short ride to the highlight of day -- the winery. We were given a great tasting introduction by the staff there and tasted quite a few different excellent wines. They sell them for quite reasonable prices (especially given the quality).

Our trip to Toledo was average. Beautiful spot, but wish the guide was more informative. Winery was nice, but everything was being translated by the guide.

I will recommend Viator not work with this company and offer their tours. Highly overated on Reviews price and quality do not match. Guide English was not good enough for this tour neither alert enough looking after her group, we unfortunately lost one in Toledo what understandable easy could happen we few instructions given for free time, we there for got delayed for the 1800 century winery that was an 25 year old farm :-/ at the farm was explained at lot about wine what was good but tasting 4 unfinished wine (6 Month) from the cask was point less and not very nice (one for the show is enough) finally we tasted on fairly good wine with some snack what was good before we was rushed back in the bus.

We expected more from Toledo with our tour guide. She was ok, but her English not the best. Stopping at a local jewelry making of the area was interesting but then turned into wasted time shopping. We left. The winery tour was excellent!

It was a very nice tour giving an overview of Toledo highlights, along with a good amount of time on your own in town. We toured the Cathedral and then had lunch with time to spare. The wine tasting was nice, but we had done this before, so a bit redundant. Our guide was very competent and friendly, so overall a good day.

Wine tasting was great. Was not impressed with the fact bus microphone was not working and the tour guide was a bit late in introducing himself. Driver was awful pumping the vehicle acceleration and not comfortable.

my friend and i were very disappointed with this experience. the guide explained a few things along the way but mostly this was a van ride to a photo op then to toledo followed by a very brief amount of free time to explore there on our own. i would not really call it a tour. at the winery our guide functioned as a translator rather than a guide. i wasn't feeling 100% so didn't have any of the wine but my friend wasn't particularly impressed by any of them. a very lackluster experience overall and could have hired a car service to toledo instead and had as much time as we wanted to explore instead of being rushed. you're really just paying for a van ride. would not book again.

Laura was a great guide that balanced her information and a guided portion with solo time very well. The wine tour was exceptional with great wines, passion and a great depth of information. The winemaker was great to learn from and welcomed questions and queries with great enthusiasm. I would highly recommend this tour with Laura and the winery.

City of Toledo was great. Eduardo did a good job providing an interesting history that helped make the visit more memorable. Vineyard tour was also very nice, vineyard owner provided good insights into the wine making process, and the wines were all very good.

A lovely day trip from Madrid

This was a marvellous day trip from Madrid. Our guide, Laura, and our driver, Pedro, were friendly, knowledgeable, and on time. The tour was divided into two parts. First, we had a city tour of Toledo (viewpoint and walking) followed by free time to explore on our own and to have lunch. Toledo is an amazing city. We spent our free time in the cathedral there. Wow! Then it was on to an ancient winery where we had a wonderful tour and wine tasting. All in all an excellent day. Thank you!

Tour guide was not very approachable, everyone was not well connected during the trip. Went to Toledo and it was not a very much informative tour as we were just led to the Jewish quarter inside the city then we were given our free time. There was no vineyard in the wine tasting as in the pictures posted - which was what me and other tourist expected. We just had a wine tasting in a seemingly residential area with a wine place.

Toledo was a fascinating place to visit and our guide Laura provided a great overview of the sites and cultural attractions in the city. Our afternoon was spent at a vineyard where we learned about wine making in this region of Spain and then sampled some great wine along with tapas. Laura was the translator for the vintner and she did a great job of making our tour of the vineyard very interesting. If you have a day in Madrid to spare, Toledo is a must see and you will enjoy this tour.
