What To Expect

Greet your guide at the meeting point in downtown Madrid, and board your air-conditioned bus for your first UNESCO World Heritage Site of the day, historic Toledo. Hit the highlights of its hilltop old town, tour its stunning medieval cathedral, and take photos from a viewpoint overlooking the river valley.

Back on the bus for a walking tour of the medieval fortress city of Avila, another UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its impressive city walls. If you’ve booked the lunch option, feast on Iberian specialties in an Old Town restaurant; if not, you’ll have free time to explore and grab a bite.

There’s no need to worry about trains and bus schedules. Your guide whisks you on to your third destination, UNESCO-listed Segovia. Visit the Roman aqueduct then admire the cathedral and the Alcazar of Segovia from outside.

Your bus drops you a short walk from the original pickup point.

We had an amazing experience and a wonderful trip exploring Segovia, Avila and Toledo. Our tour guide, Majed, was an incredible guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and with plenty of suggestions of local cuisines and customs. I strongly recommend this tour and the amazing experience of exploring each city. This was a great tour however I wish we would’ve been able to visit more of the cathedrals or museums while we were at each of the places. Our guide was very sweet however at times it was difficult to understand him.

Three fantastic cities. Each one with great history and charm. Our guide, Natalia, was incredible. We opted for lunch included. Food and wine just great.

I usually right good reviews but to many things went wrong on this tour to justify more than 3 stars and it would have been lower if not for the beautiful cities. Disappointed in the tour guide and how the day went. Very unorganized at the meeting place for check in. Then we walked 3-4 blocks to get onto the bus so this tour started out late which caused us to have less time for site seeing in each city. Not sure why check in wasn’t at the bus so you board right after checked in. Would have been a more timely process. Also, they didn’t state people should sit in the same seats after each stop which caused further delays when one person demanded they sit in the same seat which made everyone have to reshuffle on the bus. Since we had already started late, the male guide was short with people when they asked questions and even rude when one woman asked to use a restroom. At the second walled city, they dropped us off and didn’t even tell anyone how to go up on the wall before they left to take the group who signed up for lunch. They told us not to be late for our pickup but the guides/bus ended up being 20 minutes later than the pickup time. More time lost for each city again. The tour states you will arrive back to Madrid at 8pm but we arrived at 7:15 so we had even less time in each city which was the reoccurring theme for the day. Due to all the delays you really don’t get much time to site see. Next time we will pay for a small private tour which wouldn’t have cost much more since we had a group of 6 and would have had enough time to truly enjoy each city.

Not good value for money

It felt like you were just dragged and herded everywhere with very little time. The prepaid lunch is not worth it! Don’t book it. Awful food outside the city attraction with no views and staff rushing to serve you hurried unpalatable food and staff waiting to take your plate before you could finish. An unpleasant and rushed day that is not good value.

The three cities trip is amazing. This is the first day of our Madrid trip. Weather is little cold but no rain. They took us to Old Town. Lots of good food and shop. The tours guide Ali and Jorge are very profession. They explain the whole tour with Spanish and English. Everything on schedule.

Horrible experience and the worst tour operator that Spain has to offer! An early morning greet and meet at a park, under freezing temperatures and we had to wait for late comers. We never saw their bus so I'm not sure as to how much longer the group had to wait for it. A bus that we never saw but that was supposed to carry a maximum of 30 people yet the head count was greater. A guide too busy to explain anything about the tour nor apologize for the lateness. We did not go on the tour as the guide said we didn't have to and would be refunded. Later on his office said there would be no refund and end of the story. Viator was unable to do anything as, they said, they go by what the tour operator reports. I guess that customers explanations are useless and getting up early to meet the group didn't serve as a sign that we wanted to go on the tour. 30+ years in the travel industry and this experience shows how deteriorated our industry is and how much the tour operators get away with and how little customers complains really mean. Don't let my experience stop you from enjoying Spain. A beautiful country, full of history and nice people. Just don't use Viator nor their Spanish tour operator.

This was the most amazing way to get 3 cities in one day... yes it's a long day but you can have your siesta on the bus and recharge Very informative and get to see all the highlights of each town. Eduardo and Diego both made it such an amazing and memorable experience, with tons of recommendations of the places to go see and do during the free time you get as well.
