Overview

Uncover the stirring landscapes of Mallorca’s west coast on this full-day tour. Following pickup from your hotel or the cruise port, travel by coach to the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, whose formidable limestone peaks tower over the coastline. What To Expect

Climb aboard an air-conditioned coach at your Mallorca hotel and prepare to be amazed by Mallorca’s cultural and natural treasures. As your guide provides commentary, you’ll absorb panoramic vistas of Tramuntana — a UNESCO-listed mountain range — and see rugged rock formations on the way to La Calobra.

On arrival at the seaside village, you’ll spend free time relaxing on the beach or revitalizing with refreshments at your own expense.

Refreshed, climb aboard a boat and embark on a 40-minute cruise to Port Soller — a beautiful village famed for its historical monuments and wonderful scenery. During the journey, you’ll marvel at iridescent water, dramatic cliffs and rock formations before enjoying time at leisure in Port Soller.

Then, take a tram inland to Soller for a walking tour before boarding a wooden carriage train to Son Reus. The historic railway route offers an abundance of olive trees and gorgeous valleys so be sure to gaze out of the window throughout the journey.

A:On this excursion we have free time in Sa Calobra where you can go swimming either at the Torrente de Pareis beach or at Port Sa Calobra beach.

A:If you have a foldable wheelchair and the traveller can walk small distances, then yes. You will need to walk to get on the boat (just a few meters) and to be able to get on the train and tram.

Left on the curb due to operator mistake

Got left on the curb even with a proper booking due toca mistake by the tour operators in handling the participants list. Needless to say this was a terrible start to my day! Take the train + tram Combo to port of Soller with ferrocaril for a fraction of the price! 1- the information describing the tour is misleading as there is no hotel pick up as described - only one pick up point by varadero in Palma city 2- I booked this tour weeks ago and I am visiting from Canada. I showed up early for the tour today only to be told that I was not on the list and left on the curb while the bus drove away.

Basically transportation and nothing else

Would NOT take this tour ever again. You take a bus to the top of a mountain, then a boat where everyone is throwing up to another place where you catch the tram to the train. The whole thing is dumb and pointless.

Really disappointed with how we were treated. My dad had always wanted to see Sóller so we booked a few days in Palma around this tour. We booked for Wednesday and then told it had to be Thursday so rearranged our whole trip to accommodate this. They asked us to go to bus stop 98 for 9.20. We got there at 9am in plenty of time to see the tour bus drive past us without even slowing down. I contacted the agent straight away and they told me it was too late to join the trip. I even offered to get a taxi and meet them somewhere but they just would not help. This spoilt the whole trip for us. They did refund the trip straight away however that did help us when we were stood at a bus stop with no tour to go on.

A lot of fun once we got going.

The trip was very enjoyable. We got to see many amazing sights and the boat, bus and tram rides were fun. The only part that was a little off were the arrangements at the port when embarking. There was little to no parking available and no instructions as to where the pickup point was or what bus line was picking us up. Highly recommend arranging a pickup at your hotel in Palma if available. We had to wait 15 minutes with no cover in the rain prior to pickup. Otherwise it was a great trip with an experienced guide (Pepe) and driver (Juan).

Great trip. A lot packed in. It would have been nice to spend longer in some places (but not enough time on this trip … do your own if you want to take whatever time you want). Also the pick up arrangements are not great … i went to the regular’ pick up spot but there is no signage and my ticket said 830 (but bus came before 930) … so I was a bit stressed between 820 and 920, based on other’s reviews. But if you only have a day to do this… do it. Muchas gracias Pepe.

Wrong GPS location for excursion pick up

My wife and I arrived at the GPS location 10 minutes before the departure of the excursion. A bus arrived 200 meters from where we were several minutes later. We called the phone number for the local contact to see if that was the bus. No one answered. We called again. No one answered. We called Viator, and Viator called. No one answered. We approached the bus. There was no sign on the bus—and by the way, there were several buses arriving and departing. As we got closer to the bus, the driver turned away from us and got on the bus. So we went back to the GPS location and waited. After 10 minutes, we called the local contact again. This time, someone answered. He told us we missed the pickup, and there was nothing we could do to join the excursion. Bummer! The Viator team was responsive and quickly provided a refund.

Not what we hoped for. Due to bus failure and a very rocky sea nearly all the land time was eliminated. The next day we took the same vintage train to Soller for 35€. A much more pleasant experience. On the bright side…the guide did everything possible to salvage a horrific day.

Not good if you suffer from motion sickness.

Boat ride is rough. Not good for motion sickness. Almost 75% of people on board got sick. Longest 45 minutes of my life. Boating staff was awful. No idea what they were doing. No communication.

There were nice views at the monastery and the tour guide “Pepe” was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. However, the bus broke down on the mountain road to the monastery we sat on the road for about 20 minutes or so. The driver was able to repair the vehicle enough to get us to the monastery but could not take passengers from there so we waited an additional 45 minutes for a new bus to arrive. On arrival at La Calobra we had just enough time to grab a snack to go and board the boat. The boat ride was rough with many people getting physically sick. When we arrived at the pier we had to sit on the boat for an additional 30 minutes because the boat had trouble getting tied off/ secured to the dock. When we finally got off we had walk directly to the wooden train with. zero time to explore Puerto de Soller. In short, it was a huge disappointment because it felt as if we were just rushing from one transportation mode to another with no enjoyable time to explore.
