An absolutely awesome tour! Most of my photos unfortunately didn't turn out since there was condensation in my waterproof case, but the the ones that did turn out didn't do it justice anyway. Jose was a great guide, and although there were only two of us on this tour, he still took us out and showed us a great time. A few words of words of advice though: This is not for everyone. This is a pretty physically demanding tour which Viator doesn't necessarily do very good job of disclosing. There is a 40 minute hike each way to the spot which is very rocky and uneven, and slippery if it's wet. Bring your hiking shoes! Also wear pants, not shorts. The girl that was with me got her legs pretty cut up by the bushes on the hike getting there and back. The other thing not mentioned is the 200m swim to the cave or 100m if you cliff jump. The water was pretty rough that day, so that swim exhausted me before I even got to the cave. Again, I would highly recommend! Just recognize that this is a pretty physically demanding tour, but the results are worth it!

Amazing

Had Patrick as a guide, he went out of his way to make it special and was extremely friendly and helpful. Great trip would 100% recommend. One of the best things I have done
Very very pretty tour....

Very very pretty tour. Wetsuits and lifejackets and helmets were provided. The cliff jump option to get into the water to swim to the opening of the cave was a lot of fun. I would like to emphasize that the tour felt pretty athletic. The walk over to the cave had a lot of loose rocks and the cave itself I feel like I spent a lot of time worried about where to take each step with my foot and where to hold onto and how to maneuver without rolling an ankle. There is only one way through the cave, and to get back out you have to get on your hands and knees and crawl through this tiny short hole before again getting into the water and ducking under the rock ceiling to get back out. Overall, it was beautiful and worth it but I also feel lucky that I made it out without twisting something.
Exhilarating swim into beautiful caves. well worth it!

Luis was an excellent guide - gave us a lot of information on the caves and kept us safe. We loved the hike and the swim with life vests to get to the cave (or cliff jump if you wanted to). The getting to the caves was half the fun. Caves had large chambers and we had to climb to get between the chambers and swam in the water inside the caves too. Lots of formations. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Hiking boots were a good idea for the hike and you can safely leave them and your stuff on the beach while you explore the caves. Thank you Luis for a great adventure!
Just a wonderful...

Just a wonderful experience and a very nice guide. The little walk before the swimming was also very nice 😊
Great attraction those who seek a bit of adventure and like visiting caves
Jakub_F, Sep 2023
The attraction is worth every cent you pay for it. It's quite adventurous and includes swimming and walking in a wild sea cave, jumping from a cliff to the water (optional, you can also swim the distance), ducking under the water to enter the cave and more. I highly recommend it and even if you're afraid the guide will help you come through it :)
It as not enjoyable
Adrianna_W, Aug 2023
We could not do the main excursion b/c of tide which is understandable but I think they should message people and offers them possible cancellation since that is the main reason why we went also we were not warned to wear trail hiking boots and wore water shoes which were extremely uncomfortable for the 40 minute hike we went on both ways
Response from Host, Aug 2023
I am sorry that due to waves you were unable to access the main cave, we are not always aware of this before we see the waves at the exact location to be able to access if the entrance and exit is possible. Yesterday another company were trapped in the cave for several hours. In regards to foot wear we send several emails and it is clear on the information sport shoes must be worn for the 40 minute hike. I you would like to contact me directly via experience malllorca I am happy to discuss this further Regards Tracy
Intense!

Super intense! Can be a bit scary on a rough weather day. Caves are amazing! Went on a rough day and it was challenging to swim out so we jumped off a cliff!
Beautiful caves
Emmy_U, Jun 2023
Tour guide Alba was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and caring. Made sure everyone was comfortable and safe. The caves itself was beautiful but extremely busy the day we went which we were told was unusual. So there was quite a bit of waiting done to let previous groups finish each section. The walk there was harder than the walk back as there was a small hike and walking through cut bushes. The swim itself to the cave was quite hard and unexpected. The current and waves was strong and was next to cliffs which was a bit scary to try stay away from. Definitely need to be a strong swimmer.
Jellyfish attack!
Steven_C, Jun 2023
The caves are amazing! That part of the tour is the highlight. Be prepared for a 40 minute hike, not walk, to get to the beach. Once at the beach, you must swim 200 meters to the cave opening. When we were there, there were too many jellyfish at both the beach and at the cave opening. I got stung 5 times. Not sure that I would do it again. If not for the Jellyfish, I would have given a 4 or 5 rating. The caves are truly amazing, just not worth navigating all the jellyfish. This summer (2023) Mallorca has been invaded by small brownish jellyfish what pack a very painful sting!
Quality Cave Exploration
Kevin_E, Jun 2023
The cave exploration was a phenomenal experience and I would highly recommend it. The guide (Mario) did a top-notch job and it far removed from high tourist traffic.
Go for it! You only live once.

Wow! What an amazing experience. Highly recommend this trip for adventure seekers. Loved the opportunity to swim out to the cave and inside is just breathtaking. The cave is large enough that you are not climbing through small places and feeling claustrophobic. However, the hiking was a bit slow for us but understandable that others may not be as quick. The guide was great but she could have been a little more interactive during the hike. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and this is a “MUST TRY” during your stay in Mallorca.
Just book it!!
Andreea_O, May 2023
This was the most adventurous experience that I have partaken in. It had everything, hike, swim and cave exploring. It was truly a magical experience inside. 1000% recommend, our guide José was amazing
An absolute wonder to behold - with some logistical hoops from the tour mgmt company
Carrie_C, May 2023
The sea caving tour in Mallorca is easily one of the coolest things I've ever done in my entire life. We were picked up in the morning, drove about an hour to Cala Romantica, and then packed up our backpacks for a 40 minute hike to the beach area near the sea cave. The hike is a steep incline to start but then plateaus to an easy cliffside walk. Once you reach the beach, the views are paradise itself. Gorgeous crystal blue waters set inside cliffside rocks. Our guide instructed us on our wetsuits and helmets, we got in the water and swam out to the cave. Once inside, the wonder never ends. Stunning sight after stunning sight - it is truly a beauty to behold! And it makes you feel like an adventurer. You'll swim through passages, climb up rocks, walk through dark spaces with just a head lamp. My only frustration was with the company that runs the tour. We didn't get details about IF we were being picked up until about 18 hours before the tour - and that's after I called to confirm that we were indeed getting a ride to the tour from Palma. I had messaged them twice through Viator to ask if we were getting a ride and they didn't respond. They also didn't tell us what we needed to bring until 18 hours before. Luckily, we had time to get things to eat for our 'lunch' and we were able to sneak a towel out from our hotel.
Must book this excursion!
Jennifer_H, May 2023
Experience was AMAZING! 10/10 for experience, I only gave 4 stars because the description is NOT accurate! 40 minute, moderate difficulty hike to caving location. Must wear sneakers and comfortable clothes, while carrying gear. Then swimming and climbing in caves, requires a moderate degree of physical fitness. Then a 30 minute light walk back to the starting point. Bring waterproof camera, towel, water, sunscreen on the hike. Leave all other important belongings behind and secure. Couldn’t do the original cave due to safety concern but the alternative option was still great. I would 100% do this activity again, just would have planned better if I knew more. A must do in Mallorca!
Best adventure ever

The caves were an adventure of a lifetime ! Our leaders were excellent Alba and Zala Millions of years to create these caves
Sea caving adventure
Matthew_B, Apr 2023
Connie was our guide and pick us both up from the hotel. The drive was great and she showed us her local knowledge by pointing différents parts of the island out as we made our way to the meeting point. Once arrived we was given all the equipment and made our way on a fantastic hike to the beach. The swim to the cave was great and once inside it was breathtaking. Connie knowledge about the cave was excellent a true professional tour guide and answered all question. We both throughly enjoyed this experience and a must do can not recommend this enough. Connie was by far the best tour guide we have ever come across.
Must See in Mallorca!
MarieChanel_M, Mar 2023
We drove to the venue ourselves, and met Miguel who was easy to find with his company truck. The excursion itself involved a short inclined hike up to a plateau, followed by a ~20 minute walk across level ground, and then a short decline to the shore. We donned our wet suits which each person had to carry on their own in a backpack. The swim was very manageable because we opted to cliff jump, shortening the swim by 100m. Miguel was an incredible guide. We were the first group this year to experience the cave. He was personable, knowledgeable and made the entire journey the highlight of our Mallorca adventure. The sea cave is 100% a MUST SEE. If you've never been caving before like myself, it will leave you with a yearning to do it again. DO: Bring water, a snack, and a towel. Dont: Bring anything else.
Brilliant caving tour!

Highly recomend this tour to everyone with reasonable fit enough to hike, swim and crawl through tight spaces within the cave. Really great and varied experience!
Once in a lifetime experience, with the perfect guide!
Lura_H, Oct 2022
What an adventure! Firstly, Jose, our guide was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable, proficient and patient. The equipment was quality and appropriate for the activity. I loved the hike out, he was good about taking breaks for people to drink water. Due to the high surf, we ended up going to a different cave about 20 minutes further down the hiking trail, Cava Barques A. The entry was far safer than the high, pounding waves at the original cave site and I appreciate his good decision making. Our guide prioritized safety and still made our experience a total national geographic level adventure. We spent about an hour inside this cave, walking, swimming, ducking around stalactites and through narrow passages. When we resurfaced at the beach, one of our party noticed an older man stuck in the rip tide and waving for help. Jose immediately grabbed a life vest and dove into the bay, deftly navigating an aggressive swell to rescue this man! He pulled the man to shore with the life vest between them, came back to our group as if it was just another days work. He was ready to hike back after taking a minute to dry off. It was pretty incredible. In short, a quality adventure with quality, trained guides in a beautiful place.
Once in a lifetime!
