Discover one of France’s most storied winemaking regions, and enjoy a luxurious day out, when you book this private tour of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Following morning pickup at your area hotel, set off in a comfortable vehicle. During the day, you’ll visit three different wineries, where you’ll learn about the grape varietals that go into Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, will discover the region’s history, and will enjoy tutored tastings. You’ll also visit a traditional bistro for lunch (own expense).

We can arrange to pick up outside the 15km radius of Marseille, Aix-en-Provence or Avignon, subject to a surcharge of 75€ each way. This surcharge is payable via our website in advance at OohProvence or in cash on the day. You can also pre-order and pay for lunch with wine on the day of your tour. Please note this tour is not suitable for a shore excursion arriving and departing the same day from Marseille. Please contact us for other recommendations.

Delightfully Decadent!

Laurent was a wonderful guide. He made the experience so easy, fun, and enjoyable. The wineries were beautiful and had the most lovely wines to taste. We stopped at a wonderful little bistro for lunch, which was a gastronomic dream. We also stopped at a little chocolate shop, which had the most delightful little Lapin Dodu, amongst other delectable nibbles! Highly recommend booking this tour with Laurent, you’ll be so happy you did.

We had the most incredible experience on our private tour with Laurent. We saw three very different and incredible vineyards and enjoyed in-depth wine tastings at each. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a beautiful little bistro in Chateauneuf du Pape. We also enjoyed a stop at a chocolate shop. It was one of the highlights from our two weeks in France. We would highly recommend it!

This beautiful day was a highlight of our trip for me. I’m by no means a wine connoisseur but visiting 4 different vineyards from traditional to modern to organic was so informative and interesting. Our guide Laurent was patient, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. If wine tasting, history and good food is your thing then this is for you. Highly recommended.
