Great tour to Punta del Este

We loved Casapueblo and punta del Este and especially our tour guide Marcela! Not only was she a wealth of information about the area but she was also very helpful giving us tips and guidance.

Great excursion exploring the coast of Rio de la Plata and ending in beautiful Punta del Este. Marcella was a fantastic guide explaining in 3 different languages. She made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. Thank you Marcella.

Too much time collecting travelers from their hotel. Not enough time at art museum, too much free time in Punte del Este. Guide's English was horrible, and her narration filled with inane details.

A Day Away from Montevideo

We had a lovely tour guide, however she spoke so fast no one could understand her. I feel we missed a lot of history and other stories of Uruguay because of this. A couple of people had asked her to please slow down but that did not last long. Beautiful scenery along the way. Especially loved stopping at Casapueblo! Enjoyed the lunch as well.maybe spend a little less time looking at houses in Punte del Este and spend more time in the town. Our driver was fantastic and very patient !

Worth it in good weather

Unfortunately, we had pouring rain which dampened (pun intended) the day. Pros: guide was friendly, enthusiastic, checked in with everyone. Lunch was good. I could have done without the coffee stop, but most liked it. I felt rushed at Casapueblo & was disappointed at how little you can see. But I was glad to have gone. We drove through a lot of neighborhoods, which was interesting at first but got tiresome. There wasn't a lot of time to explore the city & the pouring rain didn't encourage exploration. The guide spoke very quickly & was a little hard to understand. Most of the tour were Spanish speakers, but she did speak English throughout. Just wish we had better weather

The host was nice. She spoke very fast so that she can say everything in English and Spanish. Because of that at times I was hard to understand her. Love the tour. I would do it again

The History of Condominiums in Punta de Este

We specifically requested a tour in English. Instead we got a trilingual tour. The majority of the tourists were from Brazil. The tour guide spent most of the time speaking in Portuguese, then less time in Spanish, and minimal time in English. By the time she got to speaking in English the landmark had already passed by. We grew tired of hearing when each condominium complex was built and who owns it. The tour could have been shortened by at least an hour or more. Limit the tour to the historical landmarks & museums. We also didn't need to hear when each of the beaches was developed into a resort. Just highlighting the major beach would have been fine. We got back to our hotel very late. Most of the restaurants had already closed. The tour was a disappointment.

This is a day long tour but the tour guide kept things moving even during the slow parts of the journey. Good English language commentary full of interesting information. The admission fee to the museum should be included in the tour price. I noticed some people stayed on the bus rather than pay and missed out. The Piriaopolis stop could be a bit longer. That view from the hill was the highlight of the tour for us and it would have been nice to have had more time to get coffee or something to eat at the restaurant there. Three hours free time in Punta del Este was a little too much for us. Many couples trickled back to the meeting point after two hours, bereft of more things to see. Overall a great day tour, though.

Marcela es un encanto y una máquina!! Nunca había visto a una guía con tanta fluidez en el manejo de idiomas! Y José, el conductor, condujo suave y muy bien en todo momento. Además se mostraron accesibles y amables en todo momento :) Pero mis mejoras con respecto a esta actividad son las siguientes: Mezclar tres idiomas en el mismo tour es un lioso y auturullador y hace que la información se pierda. A veces hablar más rápido, no es contar más; me gustaría un ritmo más pausado en la narración de lo que se cuenta. Eso ayuda a estar más atento a la actividad. La calidad de la información que se proporciona en el tour es mejorable, en mi opinión. En lugar de hablar de fechas de construcción de edificios o carreteras me hubiese gustado más temática histórica o social. La sensación que tengo es de no haberle sacado mucho jugo a este tour. Lo siento.

Vale a pena, apesar dos pesares...

O passeio foi bem legal. O roteiro também. Mas é tudo bem apressado, não dá muito tempo para muita coisa não. Vá já sabendo disso. O nosso ônibus apresentou problemas na volta, o ar condicionado parou de funcionar e foi um caos, ficamos com medo de pifar, mas chegou ao destino. Dica importante: mande mensagem para a operadora de turismo para ver que horas vão te buscar no hotel, pois ninguém te avisa! Insista, pois demoram a responder também.

Inesquecível o passeio, conhecendo um pouco do religioso a capela de Santo Antonio, após acredito que seja o ponto alto a visita a casapueblo do intelectual e artista Uruguaio Vilaró. O almoço no restaurante tradicional com mais de quarenta anos de experiência. A guia Marcela alem de atenciosa, conhece bem da história e sabe transmitir o seu conhecimento com muita simpatia, simplicidade e clareza. Os motoristas que no trecho foram dois, muito educados. Recomendamos

O passeio foi bom, conhecemos Punta del Este que é um lugar legal, vimos a casa del Pueblo a guia é muito atenciosa. Tivemos 3 horas de almoço, acho que poderiam ter nos levados no porto ver os leões marinhos, com uma hora poderíamos fazer isso (isso ficou a cargo do turista que não conhece direito) e também não fizemos a parada que mostra o encontro do oceano com o Rio del Plata. Com certeza teria tornado o passeio um pouco mais rico, tendo em vista a baixíssima temporada, não tinha muito o que fazer.

Achei bem corrido os passeios mais legais como o museu, mas no geral foi suficiente para conhecer um pouco mais de Punta del Este.

Utile pour une première première découverte. Pas dd langue française. La guide conférencière à fait son possible de manière utile, de même le. Chauffeur compétent. Difficile de supporter les nombreuses traductions perte de temps. Il faudrait limiter le nombre de langues et y mettre du Français.
