An excellent introduction to Mumbai. Our great guide Nannish(Nanno) was humorous, well organized, well spoken and very knowledgeable. Our driver cool, calm and skilful. We saw all the sights allotted, a great day had by all. Would definitely recommend this shore excursion over a ship bought one.

Had only a few hours to make a 'tour' of Mumbai. 'Nano', our guide, was flexible in reconfiguring the itinerary. Our driver was adroit in navigating the traffic (chaos) of Mumbai - safely, and quickly. Saw many of the highlights by drive-by, and made a few stops. The Gandhi museum is quite informational, and worth the stop. The outside laundry is an interesting relic of an older British time, and worthy to see & observe AND to be bewildered by its presence today in the 21st century. Abbreviated the tour to afford an opportunity to tour INSIDE the Taj Mahal Hotel, and walk around the Gateway of India monument of Mumbai. The pause/stop was worth it. DO plan on a slow day and expect delays - traffic in much of Mumbai is chaotic Allow for the added time, or take a break and visit theTaj Mahal Hotel (older palace part).

Amazing Experience of South Mumbai in 6 hours

Saturday March 7th at 9:30 am Group E small group of 15 We were promptly met by our guide outside the Green Gate at the cruise ship terminal. Our perfect English speaking guide was very informative and helpful catering to all our needs. The guide was excellent at providing historical information regarding all our stops, Victoria Terminus, Crawford Market, Malabar Hill, Banganga Tank, Hanging Gardens, Kamala Nehru Park, Dhobi Ghat, Mani Bhavan (Ghandi’s House), Marine Drive and Gateway of India across from the Taj Hotel. At no time did we feel rushed at any of the stops. Plenty of time to take lots of pictures. A delicious vegetarian dosa lunch was provided at the Status Restaurant as well as bottled water. This tour is a great way to spend a few hours sightseeing in Mumbai. Last stop was Gateway of India, where we left the tour on our own to have tea st the iconic Taj Hotel. Our tour guide was excellent in managing our group of 15. I didn’t write down his name, but a big thank you to the young man who was our Tour Guide for Group E on March 7th @ 9:30 am meeting at the Green Gate outside the Cruise Ship Terminal for showing me your Mumbai. It was very convenient to reach the Green Gate from the cruise ship. What a beautiful city!

A fanTAStic way to see Mumbai with only 6 hours available

We only had one day to see Mumbai while in port. With so many possible things to see, we chose this full-day (6 hours) tour and were not disappointed. Our guide, 'Nosh,' was fantastic. He was not only very knowledgeable and spoke good English, but he went well out of his way to adjust the schedule on the fly to accommodate things such as rider requests, a spur-of-the-moment view, a small window of time to see the Lunchbox delivery crew getting ready to deliver meals, etc. And the 'snack' that came with the tour was a sit-down reprieve at a nice restaurant that gave us a real flavor for a light meal in Mumbai. Loved it!

Great value trip if you want to 'do' Mumbai in a day. We got to see all the highlights of Mumbai in the comfort of an Air Conditioned minibus. One negative was the Guide did not take into account the age of his passengers, toilet stops were not factored in to the day, nor did the Guide speak loud enough or clearly enough for the majority of the minibus to hear, and the microphone was not working properly. All in all, great value for money and I would certainly use VIator when booking other excursions.

It was easy to locate the guides outside the port gates. We had an excellent guide that shared a lot of information as we made our way to the many highlights of the City. A stop at the wholesale market to purchase some lovely spices was welcome, as well as a drive around the beaches to the north side to visit a park. The surprise was a stop at a very popular restaurant for the wealthier Indians, to sample a baked snack and various chutneys. It also had clean toilet facilities. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

The tour, the tour guide and the vehicle was very good. We seen a lot of interesting places in the 6 hours we had available to us. The problem was, it was to be an English speaking tour but 4 Italians also booked the tour. Two of them could speak English and the other two could not. So every time the tour guide would give us information the Italians would translate to the non speaking Italians. They sat opposite me and I could not hear the tour guide. The tour guide tried on many occasions to hush them up and I ask them a few times to please be quite so I could hear the tour guide but it was useless. We went to a restaurant to have an Indian snack and it was also amazing. Not the fault of the tour operators but very annoying.

we were very disappointed by our 2 tours, we docked in port at 9-00 for our trip to Petra & guess what they came at 8-00 to pick us up, why didn't they get the ship times. next was Jerusalem we were told to meet at Jaffa gate no one told us it was in Jerusalem which was an hour from the ship which we could not get there in time it was not explained enough to us,we are so upset that we missed these wonderful places this cruise was a trip of a lifetime & we missed out, We should have a full refund as we missed out on this wonderful experience, here are our booking ref BR-694809434 for Jerusalem, & Ref BR-690610208, Alan Parker plus 1. hope you can sort this out as we would like to deal with you in the near future, Regards Alan Parker.

Perfect day tour from cruise ship

We booked this tour for 4 couples and our guide picked us up at the cruise terminal. When we told him what we wanted to see in Mumbai, he personalized the tour for us. For 6 hours we saw the city, visited sites and were informed by our excellent guide. I would recommend this tour. It felt personalized and private.

Loved this tour. We were met as we left the cruise port and our driver as ready to go. We were 4 couples on this almost private tour in a small van with an excellent guide. He had good English and was extremely knowledgable. You could tell he was proud of his city. He was also very willing to take our suggestions of what we wanted to see and where we wanted to go. When we talked about the trains, he offered to take us on a short train ride - stopping at one station, we travelled two stations on the train (he paid for the tickets) and then we were picked up by our van at the end. A bonus experience. The snack of Indian food was also appreciated, eating with many locals at a decent restaurant. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants an almost private and individualized tour of the city of Mumbai. So much better than the huge bus tours offered by the cruise line. And the price is very reasonable for an 6 hour tour of this busy city.

The tour covered all the main sites and interesting things like the laundry located in the “slum” area. The group was 13 people and better than the coach size parties organised by the cruise line for more money. The guide was very knowledgable and well spoken. We will definitely booking more tours with you.
