Great tour from Cruise Port, met us on time, communicated in advance to reassure!

It was a hot day but the vehicle was an SUV with good AC, walking was included on tree covered streets. Guide was very friendly, knowledgable and on time. Would book again and this time I would include the Slum tour. We did a slum tour the next day and it was amazing and eyeopening. We are in our 60's and the pace was great and we asked to get out and walk numerous times. She accommodated our every request and tour took around 5 hours. Great job!

My partner and I were visiting Mumbai for the first time for a wedding. We chose this tour due to the good reviews. We had an amazing time! For the amount of time we had and the amount of places they took us, we are very lucky! We had a tour guide and a driver so we could hope out and explore the sights while the driver navigated the busy areas. This was very efficient and convenient. The gentlemen who showed us the city were knowledgable, friendly, and easy to talk to. We shared snacks and listened to Coldplay together on the way back to the hotel! Thank you!

The tour guide Aryan and the driver were very professional . They were knowledgeable and knew all of the historical and current information about each port. They also provided cold beverages and information about a great place to have lunch. All in all a great day in Mumbai thanks to these wonderful people.

Mumbai by Private Car

Nick was our guide. We met him at the Green Gate as instructed. For clarification, the cruise ship docks in port and a shuttle takes you out to the Green Gate. Nick was waiting with a sign with our name and promptly guided us to the vehicle. The driver came to pick us up and we got in the back and Nick got in the front with the driver. Our tour was amazing, the vehicle was comfortably air conditioned. Nick pointed out landmarks and their significance as we drove. We arrived at our 1st stop Dobi Ghant and due to Nick's connections we were able to climb to the top of the roof in order to obtain amazing views for pictures. The driver circled around and came to pick us up when we were done. Next stop was the Gateway of India and the Taj Hotel that was across the street. The driver dropped us off and we got to take great pictures of the gateway as well as the hotel. Nick guided us across the street and we went into the Taj Hotel and learned about the history of both. Oncr done we were picked up in front of the hotel and taken to see the railway station. What an impressive building. Nick explained the history as well as the way its functions in todays world. The driver picked us up and we proceeded to the Cricket Fields. Once their there are a great deal of photo opportunities with the University of Mumbai, the cricket teams, the high court building as well as the clock tower. Feom there we went to the old town British settlements and viewed the colonial era architecture. We went to Marine Drive and stopped for photos along the way. Next we went to the hanging gardens and the childdrens gardens located next to each other. We proceeded to our last stop which was the hone of Ghandi that now serves as a museum. Their are 3 dloors dedicated to telling his life story. Very impressive museum with lots of photos and displays, highly recommended. Overall the tour was great. It provided a very good overview of the city it's history, culture and vibe.

Our guide Sahil was terrific. He was easy to understand and went everywhere with us. He took pictures of us using our cameras and taught me a few things about taking videos and pictures. The outside laundry and the train station was two of my favorite places, but there were many. Ashfat was a great driver. Both men were polite, kind and true gentlemen. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Our guide, Ravi, took us on an excellent tour of the main sites of Mumbai with his driver, Shamsher. They picked us up on time, navigated the traffic well and Ravi was very interesting in all he said and a great companion for the day. We would all recommend a tour with him.

We had an evening tour at 19:00 with a tour guide called Nick. It was a great tour, Nick was very informative and he had a great sense of humour. We learnt so much and saw everything we hoped to see as we only had one day in Mumbai. We love you Nick, great job!!

It focused on the working aspects of the city rather than the usual temples, mosques and churches. The best parts of the tour were the Dhoby experience and the Slum Tour. Nikhil was informative and knowledgeable, able to answer all our questions. The surprising Slum Tour was guided by a delightful young lady called Phuna (?) who grew up in the slums. It was unexpectedly most interesting and I wish we had longer. Perhaps less time in the gardens and a longer slum tour would be better. Anyway, a great days tour. Highly recommend. “. Cheers Ken

My friend and I booked this tour rather last minute on the morning of the day we wanted the tour. Because of this the normal pick up time was moved from 12.30 to 2pm. This was only a minor inconvenience and at 2pm we were picked up from our hotel by Ashab and his driver. The tour was a great way to see all the major sights of Mumbai in one afternoon and Ashab was able to answer all our questions about the places we visited. Highlights were Ghandi’s House, Nehru Park ( a peaceful garden above the city along from Marine Drive), the fabulous railway station and Crawford Market where we bought spices to bring home. It was interesting talking with Ashab about his family and how much family means to him and how aspirational he is to succeed in ‘the city of dreams.’ On the way back to our hotel we asked Ashab if he could recommend a place to eat that night for us and his choice was fantastic, our best meal in Mumbai at a place called Delhi Darbar. The restaurant does not serve alcohol but he suggested a drink called Favourite Mojito which went perfectly with our food. Thank you Ashab for showing us your wonderfully chaotic, crazy city!

Sightseeing tour

The first part of the tour was disappointing. We only had a taxi driver, no guide, which we should have had. He didn't get out the car, except at the market. So not a lot of information. Not what we paid for! We were dropped off at a cafe and told to wait for a guide. After an anxious 45 min wait, our guide arrived. The second part of the guided tour, the slums, was great. Our female guide was very informative. Just a shame we didn't get the same service for the first part of the tour.

Unfortunately, due to a fully booked schedule caused by the cruise ship's arrival in Mumbai, we were unable to provide a replacement guide and driver. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused on your travel day. Thankfully, the guide is now recovering, having sustained a wrist injury. Please accept our sincerest apologies; we have already issued a full refund for your tour on the same day.

Very disorganised and not as advertised

This was booked as a private tour but we were told by the operator 2 days before that because they were so busy it would be changed to a shared tour. We agreed to this only on the basis that it would be a small group. We expected there to be perhaps 4 of us in a shared car/taxi but when we arrived at the meeting point there were several dozen people milling about who were all booked on the same tour with little to no info being provided as to what was happening. We were left standing in the blazing heat for well over an hour while they tried to sort out groups and then summon the buses which were obviously nowhere near us. We ended up with 15 people in our group crammed onto a minibus with one guide and no microphone. Although Mumbai itself is an interesting experience, it is extremely noisy with a lot of traffic therefore with a group of 15 we actually heard very little of what the guide was saying. In summary, this was not what we paid for and there are many better options available than this company. Our strong perception is that this change from a private tour to groups is commonplace and is therefore basically a scam.

The tour was an absolute disaster. We booked a private tour for eight The day before the tour operator informed us that we will be joining others in a bus. The bus arrived two hours late and everyone was baking in the hot sun. The tour guide tried very hard but his English was very difficult to understand. I would not recommend you to use this tour company since there are many others offer the same tour

The Elephanta caves were amazing and we had a brilliant guide, Prim. He was interesting and was happy to take photos for us. This part of the trip took all morning. The rest of the day was visiting sights around Mumbai. We went to the laundry, a cricket pitch (not a stadium, just an open ground where anyone can play), the train station, Crawford market and the Hanging gardens. None of these places were particularly amazing, although the station is a beautiful building. It was good to experience the area though. I'm sure there must be more interesting places in Mumbai?

We were expecting a guided tour in small groups based on the booking but we were picked up on the day by a very nice and helpful taxi driver who did take us on our own round the city wherever we wanted to go but being new to Mumbai we were really looking for something more structured as we have had on other Viator excursions in other places
