Great tour
Miranda_C, May 2024
Adam from InMunich tours was great and very knowledgeable. I appreciated his approach to the tour. I liked that the group was small.
Dachau
Yolande_G, May 2024
The tour guide was great but a lot of talking and we would like to have had more free time. There was a movie we would have liked to watch but not able to in time frame. Going on own with headphones may have been better
Informative

The tour guide was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and handled sensitive topics quite well. He was very curious and respectful.
Memorial Site in recognition of the Victims
Michael_K, May 2024
Excellent tour guide with immense knowledge and professionalism. I met some great people from all over the world on this tour that dealt with a very dark part of world history. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning more about this former concentration camp. The tour is designed to only showcase the memorial site from the victims' viewpoint which is the way it should be. Don't expect to see anything from the SS point of view including the inside of the sniper towers...this tour is in recognition of all of the millions of people who lost their lives.
Powerful expression!
Steve_E, May 2024
Heim was extremely knowledgeable! We were given time to explore the sites on our own or have a bite to eat at the cafe.
Scott was super friendly...
Chris_G, Apr 2024
Scott was super friendly and treated the subject matter with a lot of respect. He was also incredibly knowledgable. The tour was well organised with enough time to freely visit parts of the camp and museum on our own.
Excellent trip. Very educational. Professional and friendly tour guide took us around the site. Very knowledgeable.
Andrew_M, Apr 2024
I always wanted to go on such a trip, so it was interesting to know the true story of the event. All of the sections were memorable.
We recommend taking a guided tour
Cheryl_P, Apr 2024
We were so glad we went to Dachau and that we did this with a tour guide. It was a powerful and moving experience and our guide, Aileen, was very sensitive to the group participants’ needs, especially our 14 and 17 year old. She informed us ahead when things were particularly graphic and made it completely comfortable for those who didn’t wish to go in to the crematorium. She made sure we had time at the end of the tour to visit the Protestant Chapel which was profoundly helpful. The tour of Dachau helped put much in context for us as we continued on to Berlin to encounter more WW2 history at memorial to the murdered Roma & Sinti, and the Murdered Jews of Europe, the Berlin Jewish Museum, etc. Thank you Aileen!
Interesting and informative trp to Dachau
Shelly_L, Apr 2024
Our guide Hein was very knowledgeable and did a great job of showing us the important aspects of the site and answering any questions the group had.

More than a tour
L_a, Apr 2024
Our guide, Scott, is amazing. He gave such insightful discussions we got more than a tour and much more than a history lesson. It was an experience of a lifetime
Very sombre and informative tour.
Sally_S, Apr 2024
Hein (I hope I’m remembering correctly) was an excellent guide. He knew his way around the public transport which made it very easy for us all to travel to Dachau. Once on site he shared lots of information about the memorial site which expanded on what we could read there about the history of Dachau. A very somber place. He was easy to understand and he even gave us advice regarding a train trip we had to take the next day. Was a nice small group too which made it easier.
Extremely knowledgeable tour with perfect tour guide!
Amy_C, Apr 2024
Our tour was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Keith, was exceptional at giving us information that we would never have gotten by going ourselves. We appreciated his candor and he was very detailed in his explanations of life for prisoners at Dachau. I highly recommend this tour for the ease and expertise that was apparant throughout our tour.
A guided tour is a MUST
Sarah_A, Apr 2024
Our guide, Scott, was excellent. A complete expert on German history, WW2, the holocaust, and Germany since that time. We went into the tour knowing a lot about the country's history and WW2 but we learned SO much more. Like everyone else, we thought about taking a formal tour to Dachau versus going alone. If you are someone who learns by reading through endless text at a museum and has the time and patience to absorb exhibits this way, then you may not need a tour. But listening to Scott tell the history of this event and add details not included in the museum exhibits ensured we learned the material. Plus, you will have about an hour to yourself where you can go through the museum at your own pace. My 14 year old son (minimum age allowed) is a huge WW2 buff and he is still talking about the tour and stories told by Scott. This is the way to go. You won't regret it.
Excellent Tour - Highly Recommend
Stephen_W, Apr 2024
Excellent tour! We really want to thank our guide, Marcin, who gave us a wonderful learning experience. Marcin was incredibly knowledgeable about history and culture, and gave us an in-depth understanding of not only the timeline of Dachau, but also the socioeconomic factors that led to its dreadful creation. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn a balanced and thorough view of history from an accomplished, knowledgeable and consummate professional. Thank you Marcin for an excellent day of learning, remembrance and solemn reflection.
Perfect tour guide
Maria_C, Mar 2024
Marcin was a great tour guide. Throughout the tour he shared the history, information and stories from survivors as we were guide around the camp, which made the experience very holistic.
Moving experience at Dachau
Alexander_T, Mar 2024
Keith was very knowledgeable and candid in the history of Dachau. It was an experience that could not have been possible with the audio guide alone. Taking the train and bus to and from Dachau was fuss free and convenient.
Worth repeating.
Betty_P, Mar 2024
The tour guide was exceptional. Tour was all inclusive, as advertised and well worth the time. It was a bit rushed with limited time to view the exhibits.
A must-do
Kristen_A, Mar 2024
As expected, a somber day trip full of haunting history, but Hein was a fantastic tour guide and provided a wonderful experience. We cannot recommend this tour enough!
History lessons
MariaElizabeth_Z, Jan 2024
Marcin was a very good guide. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he is very committed to learning and sharing the history of the site. He also is a very engaging storyteller. He has visited other concentration camps and also personally met survivors, so he makes his stories very personal. It is a difficult tour, but definitely worth visiting due to its historical value.
