Dear Kaitlin, but overall dear travellers that are you reading this review, I'm really surprised by the point of view here expressed that I find also offensive. It's not the first time and our job sometimes includes the understanding of psycological issues that are not so clear also for us but probably belong to wrong expectations.
And at the end of each experience seems to be something useful to express the negative quality of an experience giving the worst rate that problably derives from a stressful and frustrating state of mind (as you wrote at the end).
So I want to invite first of all you everybody to see please on line the official page of "I Point Ercolano", as "Discover South", try to digit: we have only 5 stars, our customers are always in the middle of our attention and we have smiles for everybody, every day, 365 days.
If there's something that characterize us is the emphaty and the patience with everybody and our nice and sweet welcome with everybody, also if there's a problem to be solved.
So I would like to explain why I find these words really offensive and false for many reasons:
1. There was an operator cleaning the bathroom and we kindly asked to wait before to enter in in order to avoid accidents and to find a cleaned bathroom, I think is normal or not?
2. Once you back from the tour we were opened as every day but working inside at the back office but we are not obliged to be opened in the afternoon to make you use the bathroom???
Do you know that in Naples as in Italy you could go in any bar as the bart close by asking for a coffee and using the toilet fro free...we are not a toilet office sorry!
3. About resell tickets and fee, do you know that without the presell of tickets you wouldn't find any ticket for Mount Vesuvius that is daily sold out?
Do you know services offered by travel agencies and on platform like this that give you the chance to book a service (that you appreciated also giving 1 star, crazy!)
4. All the feedback speak for us so we are really disappointed but what you described is false and about the strike of trains you could be better informed inside the train station, we are a touristic infopoint and we cannot be ready to give you support if there are changes hour per hour during a strike. We don't understand your review sorry but overall your frustration against us without any sense.
