Amazing Tour Company
David_P, Jan 2024
The driver and guides were fantastic and kind. They took heaps of quality photos of us at every monument, chose great dining options and showed genuine care and professionalism guiding us around. Fully recommend this tour and operator! 5 🌟

A once in a lifetime tour of the Golden Triangle
Pauline_G, Oct 2023
Amazing tour of the 3 historic cities. Incredible amount of information from our guides: Dilip (Delhi), Mahesh (Agra) and Ashok (Jaipur). A very special mention to our driver (and guide) (Binu) who kept us safe on our long journeys between cities and in the cities.

Fantastic Tour of the Golden Triangle Sights in very Knowledgeable and Safe Hands
Camilla_H, Jul 2023
The Viator tour company was very efficient and professional from start to finish. The car was in good condition with AC with an excellent and safe driver. The sights visited on the 3 day Golden Triangle tour were to die for, not least the Taj Mahal and the Amber Palace. We had two guides and they were both very knowledgeable and pleasant. The last one was in addition to his historical knowledge, an accomplished astrologist, and gave all four of us a small session, which was incredible accurate and spot on. I can highly recommend the company and the tour - everything was very interesting and smooth. Thank you Camilla

A trip of a lifetime
Ivana_L, May 2023
The trip was all memorable. Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Fantastic tour guides. Knowledgeable and fun. The last two guides were really great. We learnt a lot. I don’t think the visit to the carpet sales person in Delhi was necessary. It stole from the value of the tour. We didn’t leave 14,000 km with my family to buy carpet. The hotels were all very good. Well done!

3 Day Whirlwind Trip
Greg_D, Mar 2020
We really enjoyed this trip and it packs a lot in over the 3-days. Our driver was curtious and friendly however be prepared for a crazy driving experience in India. Each day we had a different guide and whilst they had great knowledge of each area, we did find them a little difficult to understand as they speak English so fast. Also be prepared to get a little harassed with sales people when you visit some of the local craftsmen. They do make wonderful stuff but once you are there they feel like you should be buying something.

Outstanding Tour
ccazuogu, Jan 2020
This tour is a must if you have limited time. Our tour guides (Dilip [Delhi], AD [Agra], and Vijay [Jaipur]) are the best to ever do it--their knowledge base is unparalleled; they are organized, detail oriented and well established in their various locales. You will get to visit many workshops and boutiques of local artisans in each town. Mr. KK Sharma, our driver for the 3 days, is phenomenal. He knows the roads so well and had the car ready at every spot. We never stopped for gas or wasted any travel time. Truly amazing. Beware, if you have car sickness, there is a lot of driving involved. This did not bother me but my friend found the road from Jaipur back to Delhi a bit difficult.

Highly recommended tour
Catherine_D, Jan 2020
We were very well taken care of from start to finish. The local guides were all very friendly, and knowledgeable. Our driver, Hari, was also very friendly. I found his driving to be very safe (particularly by Delhi standards!). The hotels on the 5* option were wonderful. Our only 'complaint' was that we were not able to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise due to the haze, but this was communicated to us prior and was out of the tour guides' control! We were given the option as to whether to be taken to shops or not, which we appreciated. It is not compulsory.

Amazing and Incredible Experience
Elizabeth B, Dec 2019
This is a MUST tour! The tour guides were so knowledgeable and very personable. The driver was great as well. We learned so much and saw all the must sees in each city. Singh from Delhi, Mahesh from Agra, and Ashok from Jaipur were just amazing and most delightful! They were open to our many questions ranging from history, religion, and cultural practices. Our eyes were opened to the beauty of India and its people. We loved every minute of this tour!

Highlights of India in Three Days
Darcy_C, Dec 2019
We booked the Three Day Golden Triangle Tour with Viator, and as usual, Viator delivered an excellent experience. As we only had a few days, we wanted to see as many of the highlights of India as we could, without being rushed, and on this tour we did just that. We started out in Delhi, where our driver and tour guide arrived punctually at the hotel to pick us up. Sites such as Qutb Minar, Himayuns Tomb, the Lotus Temple, and India Gate are not to be missed. After that we drove approximately three hours to the hotel in Agra. We had the evening free to enjoy the hotel and relax before an early morning start on day two. The Taj Mahal- well, it’s the Taj Mahal!! Breathtaking, a must see item that should be on everyone’s list. Our guide recommended we go early to beat the crowds, good call, as it was starting to fill up as we left the site. We also seen Agra Fort on day Two as well. Another great site! After Agra Fort, we were on the road again, this time for Jaipur. It was a long drive, 4 hours, but the car was comfortable, the AC worked, there was snacks and water, and there was even WIFI in the car, an unexpected bonus! The next morning, we seen the Amber Fort, perched up on its mountain plateau. It was an excellent couple of hours there. Then we went and seen the Water Palace, explored the Observatory- very cool- the Royal Palace, seen the Wind Palace, and watched some craftsmen as they made rugs and clothes by hand. After that it was about a four hour drive back to Delhi. Overall, nothing but great things to say about the tour guides (as we had a different one in each city), the driver, and the tours themselves. We selected 5-star hotels and they were up to standard. The buffet breakfasts were delicious! A special shout out to our tour guide on the second day, Seema Singhal, who took us through the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. She was very enthusiastic, friendly, and full of pertinent and interesting facts and stories about what we were seeing, stories beyond what the tour books offered. If you’re looking to see as much as you comfortably can see of India and its culture in a short period of time, then this three day private tour is for you.

Quatre jours dans le triangle d'or
Vacation67955270767, Nov 2019
Excellent programme, excellents chauffeur et guides. It was easy to book for this progarm by internet and then to extend for one day in Delhi when we arrive. The choice of the guide in Delhi was really good. We visit this large cuisine in the Singh temple instead the red fort. We see an other fort rouge in Agra. In Jaipur we could add the elephant riding arrival and get a very open guide who spoke well French and have interesting discussions. The hotels were from our personnel choice. I recommand the Havelis in Agra and Jaipur. the weather was very good, not too hot.

In 2 words: No brainer
JeanCharles_T, Oct 2019
If you have 2 min to spare: Everything you can read on this page is what you get. The visits, the private car, the great chauffer, the knowledgeable guides in each city, the nice hotels are all there and either meeting or exceeding expectations! Fair enough, it’s not written that there is a lot of pollution while you will get loads of it but that’s part of the Delhi experience! ;) (The only surprises we had were the unexpected stops at local handmade art workshops: Kashmere carpets, Marble carving, Gems & Jewellery... Tourist trap or not, we bought a carpet... haha) Our car (a recent Toyota Etios) was a small one but sufficient as we were only 2. It was quite clean and the AC was a relief after the visits at each site. The rides between the cities are long. The first leg (3 hrs) is done on a private highway which is in perfect conditions between Delhi and Agra. The second leg (5 hrs) starts with the exiting of Agra on small roads and then bigger ones (kinda highway but not really). Finally, between Jaipur and Delhi it is the longest ride. Another 5 hours ish which turns out to be longer when so much traffic at the entrance of Delhi. Wifi hotspot in the car at convenience to stay connected. The restaurants we went to (Pindi in Delhi, on a highway stop towards Agra and just before exiting Jaipur) were very good, not too spicy and no digestion issue! The hotels (took 4* option) were nice. In Agra, the Crystal Sarovar is very close to the Taj Mahal which os handy as we woke up at 5:30 for the sunrise visit! (I would have loved to have a room with a view on the Taj Mahal as the hotel offered those) In Jaipur, the Four Points was very nice as well. Maybe one step below the Sarovar overall. Our driver, K.K. Sharma, might have been the best part of the whole thing. Safe driving at all times (Indian standards obviously), talked to us without taking over conversations and always smiling and caring. He has got a stock of bottled water available in the cooler in the trunk. Great service! Thanks to him we discovered the Masala Tea. He went the extra mile has he did everything he could (let us use his mobile or called himself) to help us get our luggage from the airport as they did not make the transfer... Conclusion: Yes, this tour has a certain cost for sure but you buy yourself an all inclusive package (w/o lunch, dinners & tips) to get the chance to visit 3 beautiful cities in 3 days! A must if you have only 3 days! Thank you K.K., Dilip, Saurabh and Surya!

Packs a lot into 3 days
Gemma_B, Sep 2019
We only had a few days in India but this was a great, stress-free way to get around to see the highlights of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The mornings were spent sightseeing and after a delicious lunch at a tourist restaurant we then drove to the next destination, a chance to rest in the car and cool off in the air conditioning! We were driven expertly and carefully by DK Sharma who navigated his way around the lorries and cows. Just be aware that there are a few stops to see 'art' demonstrations which are really an opportunity to sell goods to tourists, so do make it clear you don't wish to do these stops if you're not in the mood for shopping. Overall, loved it.

Great trip of the keys sights!
RAYMOND_H, Jul 2019
We were in India for work and decided to tack on a short trip to see some keys sights! The booking was so simple and shakul communicated well and easily via WhatsApp prior to departure... Appreciated this especially since work was so busy. Hari, our driver for the trip, was great and accommodating... We were perpetually late and taking more time and he just rolled with it. He always had the van nice and comfortable for us and cold water always on hand... Hari even had hand sanitizer and wifi in the van! The guides throughout were excellent... Explaining the history of the region and the various conquest and rules and how the various religions and cultures mixes together. They were all incredibly knowledgeable and well versed! The shopping stops were interesting and not high pressure so fine as well! Since we were a bunch of engineers, we love the Astrological Observatory in Jaipur... So cool they could do that level of precision! Obviously the Taj Mahal was amazing - and the highlight of the trip. Great work all around... We flew out of Jaipur and they accommodated that schedule as well... Highly recommend especially for a quick trip and seeing the key sights!

A great tour with a few caveats...
Tracy P, Jul 2019
We just returned from India, where the 3 Day Private Golden Triangle Tour was part of our itinerary. There were plus/minuses for this tour. The pluses include the opportunity to see things that you will never see anywhere else and then maybe only once in a lifetime. The hotels (we booked five star) were more than adequate and provided a nice respite from the heat and weariness from being on the road. Our guides were quite good and very knowledgeable and sometimes a little too knowledgeable. Tell me five facts and I'll remember them all. Tell me thirty-five facts and I'll remember two. Our driver, Mr. Hari Shankar was a godsend and perhaps the bravest man I've ever met. If you've driven from Delhi to Agra to Jaipur and then back to Delhi, you'll understand. Highways that are shared by cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, mopeds, tractors and even carts pulled by camels. Turn signals have been replaced by car horns in India, and good brakes are a necessity. There were two minuses, and they were pretty big. First, the push by every guide to go and visit "cottage industries" complete with a tale of woe about the merchants trying the eke out an existence after some calamity or another. After going to the first one in Delhi, where there was a lot of pressure to buy, we informed our guides for the next two cities to not even suggest the shopping stop. There has to be some arrangement between the local tour operator and the merchants. Not good tour marketing. Second, no one prepares you for the absolute squalor that exists outside (and even inside) the major cities. I've traveled globally and I thought I knew what poor looked like. India takes to a whole new level. You don't see what we saw in the travel guides, so be warned. It can be heart wrenching, which eventually turns to numbness. It's not localized, it's everywhere. That being said, you must experience the good and the bad that India lays at your feet at least once in your lifetime. With the exception of the "push selling" of the "cottage industries" portion of the tour (for which I do not hold Viator responsible), the tour allows you to see some unique sights that are a long way from home.

First time to India
Barbara_C, Jun 2019
Highly recommend this tour!! Our every need was looked after - same driver to all cities who was absolutely lovely and a very comfortable car for the long drives. Tour guides in each city were locals, knowledgeable and great sense of humor. For first timers to India, this trip is a must - you are well looked after and safe - everything is thought of.

Whirlwind of Royalty
Happiness53268241871, Jan 2019
WOWOW!Loved this trip. Overall, it was a great experience, but be prepared to spend a LOT of time in the car. Half day each day is spent driving. With the frenzied traffic, honking, and braking it feels like a whirlwind. The concierge named Shakul that orchestrates everything and checks in by phone and Whatsapp twice daily was there to answer questions and help with language issues if they come up. Up early each day to get to the monuments first so that it was less crowded was good strategy. Late to bed after the drive during traffic times, we were a bit exhausted by the end, but glowing from the amazing display of history, architecture and current life that we were introduced. We were picked up on time by our Driver DK Sharmal. His car was air conditioned, clean, smelled nice, and in very good repair. He and the tour guide took us around Delhi, and since we had already seen some monuments on the itinerary, they adjusted the route to show us different places. Off from Delhi to Agra, DKs driving is expert. We were two ladies safe in his care, he found us great places for meals on the road which were less touristy, better price ,and very good clean food conditions. Agra chosen hotel was nice, but also smelly... bug spray smells everywhere... yuck. We didn't go out, ate at the hotel. DK sent us good morning messages to make sure we were up and ready to depart to see the Taj Mahal on time. Our female guide, Seema met us promptly, and explained the security restrictions. SUNRISE was the way to go to avoid crowds!! Myself being female with my female traveling companion were VERY grateful to have a female guide, because they split the entrance security lines by sex. there are so many people, if we had been separated I would be worried that it is hard to meet up again. Seema is such a pleasant young lady, incredibly knowledgeable, and expert at the history and seeing things through the eyes of the Rajas who once lived in the area and built these amazing structures. The Red fort was beautiful. Then another 4 hour drive to Jaipur, Shakul keeping us safe and dropping us for lunch. Jaipur Sheraton hotel was very nice, and the buffet was really good. Our guide for Jaipur named Suryakant, also was charming, very comfortable telling us about current lifestyles and all of the ancient fascinations in the Amber fort, and how well loved the Royal family is that lives in the City palace. Then another 4-5 hours in the car back to Delhi.
