    The VR ride at the end was great fun but the history exhibitions one has to pass through before getting to it were dull and unimaginative. Fortunately, I went early so I wasn't held up by crowds of people and could get through quickly. An expensive 40 minutes!

    From the start, the experience was jammed packed with historical events and stories presented in the most unique ways. My eleven year old loved every moment as we took our time and absorbed every room.

    The museum portion is great for families with children. However, the ride portion is NOT for children under 10 years old that don't normally go on rides at amusements parks. We weren't adequately prepared for what to expect and my 7 year old did NOT have a good time. It was very realistic and we definitely felt like we were flying through the city in and out of neighborhoods.

    Great time and very informative. Take your time or skim through.... either way you'll enjoy. I recommended grabbing a free bag of popcorn and watching clips of iconic NYC movies. The flyover was amazing : on par with many other flyovers we've done.

    Rise NY was great. It's an interactive museum experience. The best parts are the music section and the 4D simulated New Year's Eve ball drop.

    We loved the Hip Hop era! The ride at the end was absolutely the most fun thing we did while visiting!

    Not really memorable except understand US pop culture a little more. Upset with not getting “VIP” treatment when I had VIP access. Don’t know what VIP entitlement except a lanyard & a bag, sat in a corner during simulator.

    When we arrived we scanned our tickets and was told we are VIP! We were able to go in first to things and get a discount in the shop. We enjoyed the exhibits and spent time reading it all! We really enjoyed this great way to learn about NYC History!! Take ur time !!

    Just two New Yorkers (mother & son) out enjoying the city. We had an excellent time. I wish we could have done the ride again —that would be a great add on sale. And we bought a City Rat from the store. They also have a pigeon—I recommend the pigeon for out of town-ers.
