    What To Expect

    Enjoy a front row seat to the best of New York City on THE RIDE, a thrill-a-minute bus ride that takes you throughout Midtown Manhattan and brings the city's history to life using interactive features and actors.

    Sit in the stadium-style seating and be dazzled by the lights and TV monitors of this traveling theater as you immerse yourself in the action. The roughly 4.5-mile (7-kilometer) voyage through Midtown Manhattan entertains, educates, and creates lasting memories of your visit to New York City. 

    Along the way, pass iconic spots including including Broadway, 5th Avenue, Central Park, and Times Square.

    • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
    • Adult pricing applies to all travelers.
    • Minimum age is 6 years. Children under 6 years of age will NOT be permitted on the bus.
    • Not wheelchair accessible
    • Food and drink are prohibited on THE RIDE.
    • There is no restroom on the bus. Please make sure to use the restroom before boarding. There is no access to a restroom during THE RIDE.
    • Near public transportation
    • THE RIDE is not wheelchair accessible and you will need to ascend stairs to enter and exit.
    • Most travelers can participate
    • THE RIDE does not travel at high speeds. However, the bus features side-seating so guests are facing sideways as we travel through New York City, so you can expect some repetitive starting and stopping that may affect some patrons.
    • Not recommended for travelers prone to motion sickness.
    • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 49 travelers

    Cancellation Policy

    You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

    Fantastic midtown treat

    Loved the singers and Dancers and sax player on the street. The rapper had very funny interactions with people in the street- so entertaining. Outstanding hosts on the bus kept everyone engaged and having fun.

    The event was something we thought we would try, the heat was overbearing and looking around a few ppl had fallen asleep. The staff did try and work hard but there were quiet periods we were driving around the streets

    Such a great tour!!!! The hosts, Scott and Jack were hilarious and made it’s so much fun! The live entertainment on the street was so creative! If you love to people watch, this is the tour to take!!

    Was very disappointed with viator bough tickets over 2 months ago was on the ride had to be taken off tickets didn’t show up called for a refund might not get one.

    Hi Tyler, we hate to hear that you're disappointed. We cannot allow children under the age of 6, so unfortunately we had to turn away your party prior to boarding. This isn't the customer experience we want to give, so while our Viator listing, and our website, mention the age restriction, we have also added the restriction to each ticket.     In an attempt to find something fun for the family like a "Broadway Show" on DARK Monday lol I found The Ride. It was Excellent ! Well organized, interactive, educational, fun and very entertaining. Scott & Jackie were a hoot and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride=)

    Bus broke down so we were left on the side of the road. The option was to reschedule or get a refund. The two tour guides joked about themselves mostly before the breakdown. You have to wear a mask while they do not.
    Wonderful tour of Times Square and theater in the streets.

    Wonderful experience! Especially for my grandchildren (teenagers) that have grown up in Hawaii and to see a big city other than Honolulu. The guides were fantastic and fun.

    We did t appreciate the poking fun of Jesus (Chrysler building and Pret a Manger). I challenge the company to also publicly make fun of Islam, Judaism and Buddhism also, if this is acceptable. The on-board entertainers were obnoxious. The performers outside of the bus were excellent. I was really disheartened by the experience with my young adult son, who was already questioning his Christianity before the bus ride. Bus ride certainly didn’t help. Will never recommend to friends, family.

    Unbelievably fun the two hosts were amazing and very talented. Great for friends or family with kids. You’re gonna get a lot of laughs maybe a little short on the actual sightseeing or history but they do blend in a fair amount. All in all really fun great experience would recommend highly. Now my 10-year-old daughter’s review… it was funny and we say lots of stuff stuff and they had acting parts and lots of cool stuff…overall a five out of five!!!!

    I'm not the target demographic for this tour. The tour operators have a patter for the entire duration of the trip, they are always saying *something* trying to keep you entertained. They're very good, they did well, but at times it was a bit too much - too cheesy, too loud, too much crowd participation. But it is very good and I'd recommend it to anyone who visits New York.

    Extremely Overpriced! The "entertainers" on the bus were very annoying and not funny. We preferred to hear more history and information on landmarks and Christmas light tour but they focused on themselves and not funny jokes. It was very disappointing to pay that much money to be miserable.
