Leave your preconceptions about sharks at the door and get up close to these sleek creatures on this unique ocean experience. Head out from Haleiwa, on the North Shore of O’ahu, and spend roughly half an hour swimming with the sharks living in the area. What To Expect

Swim with sharks in a natural, cage-free environment on this small, intimate, family-run snorkel adventure. There’s no need to be afraid, since the sharks and other marine life you’ll be swimming with are harmless to humans.

Your tour starts when you show up at the departure point to meet your small group and guide in Haleiwa, on Oahu’s North Shore. You’ll be given snorkel gear to use, so you don’t need to source that separately.

You’ll head out to the deep blue water where you can watch people swimming with sharks, then get into the water yourself. You’ll spend around a half hour in the water with the sharks, unless you want to come up to the boat sooner, which is always an option.

If you visit Oahu, this is a must! Come support a family owned and operated business. We had four tour guides who were very knowledgeable, and a small group of people in our tour group (about 6). They took a great deal of time explaining the whole process to us and made us feel extremely comfortable. Seeing the sharks swim very close to you is such a rush!

Ramsey and his team were amazing very passionate they seem like they love what the ocean has to offers they actually looked almost as curious and excited as us about everything happening they’re friendly knowledgeable and chill guys we were only our group on the boat so it felt like a private ride and we get to see two bull sharks 🦈 they came close to us and we could eat a whale and her baby from under the water it was also a little baby octopus 🐙 that came on the camera and let us have it in our hands and they are safe honnest guys as well and offer free pictures of us very toughfull they made sure to take pictures and video on the boat and of each of us

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars because it was honestly that amazing. The guides were so knowledgeable and kind. They’re several guides ,so several were in the water with us and some on the boat watching out for us, so we felt safe 100% of the time and never once felt like we were in any kind of danger. We’re able to see so many Galapagos sharks while we were out , so worth the money. Will definitely do again if we are ever back in Oahu

A must-do adventure on the North Shore

The Islandview Hawaii crew were amazing. Super friendly guides that made the experience that much better. If you’re going to swim with sharks, this is the one to do. No-cage sounds intimidating but it’s really not scary. We were surrounded by 6 Galapagos sharks ranging from 5-7 feet and never once felt unsafe. Two other great things about this particular trip: the guide’s respect and reverence for the ocean, and the fact that they dive with you and take tons of pictures on your behalf, and then share them all with you at the end. No need to get price-gouged by paying extra for pictures and videos of your experience.

Absolutely amazing experience! Staff were funny & friendly, and the whole experience felt very safe. Sharks were plentiful, majestic, and absolutely breathtaking to see up close. This was a fantastic trip! We enjoyed every part of it. Our guides Braxton, Ramsey, and Sam kept us safe, informed, and entertained. It was an amazing opportunity to see these majestic creatures (the Galapagos sharks, not our guides… heehee) swimming in nature.
