    First time surfing for me and my girlfriend. Max made it absolutely easy and lots of fun! Quick training in the surf shop then went to the beach to catch some waves 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️. He was Ana amazing instructor.

    Had an awesome time! Max was great! Broke down the components of surfing into a quick and efficient "land lesson" before getting in the water. I was up and standing on my first wave with a little push from Max to help catch the wave. Beach and waves were crowded with new surfers like me but we were able to navigate it pretty easily. Would recommend and would do it again any time.

    My husband and two kids absolutely loved their surf lessons. Max did a great job of giving instruction, they all got up multiple times! Having an instructor to themselves was perfect. They met up at a surf shop nearby to get instruction and their boards. They even offered me a beach chair to use while I waited on the beach and took pictures.

    Great experience with Max very informative form the safety instructions to the water, patient and friendly. I’d definitely come back and 100% recommend. If you’d like some photos and/or videos, make sure you request in advance.

    Max was a great instructor. Patient and chill, he had great pointers for we middle-aged clients. If you are middle aged or older and in decent but winter-ish shape, an hour and a half may be a tad ambitious. Paddling out is the most physically challenging part. But Max will get you on the wave and the rest is up to you! We had a great time.

    We were pleased to be able to do a private lesson for two of us in our family during our time in Waikiki. Max was a great intructor for us newbies... friendly, patient, safety-minded, and we could tell how passionate he is about surfing and the ocean in general! We had a great time and felt the lesson was a success!

    Max was a great instructor! Concise and efficient communication. The lesson started with 15 minutes of land instructions then at a less crowded sea location to practice surfing. I stood up 70% of time and had a blast! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try surfing.

    Max worked with our three teenage kids and they all had a great time. The communication prior to the lesson was seamless and the overall experience was great. Highly recommend working with Max for a relaxed and fulfilling surfing experience.

    Max is awesome! He is so helpful, approachable, and easy to talk to. He broke down paddling out and standing up on the surf board into its component parts, along with safety and etiquette info on a crowded Waikiki beach. Easily the most fun and helpful surf lesson I've ever had. My husband and brother were also part of the lesson and we all had a fantastic time. Easily one of the funnest things we did on our trip. :)

    The fact that i was able to actually catch my first wave as soon as i did my first pop up was amazing! Was able to catch majority of the waves, therefore i had a great time.

    Beautiful spot to surf but too crowded. Max was a great instructor and did his best in the chaos. My son got a good first time surfing lesson and has the fever to go again!
