Discover all the vibrant marine life that calls Turtle Canyon’s reefs home—and enjoy an accessible way to snorkel and explore—on this family-friendly catamaran trip. Make your own way to the Kewalo Harbor, and hop aboard your well-appointed catamaran: snorkels, fins, masks, and more are all provided on board. Once you make it to the reefs, dive in, spot sea turtles and other marine life, and admire the underwater scenery.

The Moana Catamaran is located on the south end of Kewalo Harbor, at slip D 108.we recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to departure time. Boarding begins 15 min prior to departure time. Best parking is located on the north and east ends of the harbor.

What To Expect

Arrive at your meeting point, conveniently located at Kewalo Basin Harbor, and find your catamaran just a short distance from the parking lot. Choose between a morning or afternoon tour, depending on which fits better in your schedule.

Hop aboard your vessel and allow the captain to transport you away from shore to Turtle Canyon. When you get there, put on the provided snorkeling gear and get in the water. Your life guard will keep watch as you dive into the ocean to discover the reefs and various sea creatures that reside below the surface.

Swim alongside turtles and spot starfish as you navigate the underwater scenery.

After your snorkeling adventure, sail back to the meeting point while savoring some refreshing drinks from the full bar.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great crew, very informative and safety was a priority. We only saw a couple turtles but, that's the luck of the draw. We did see several dolphins though. They gave us decent equipment to use and sanitized it as we turned it in for there next outing.

We had a fantastic time and experience on this snorkeling tour. The boat and crew were wonderful. The reviews were spot on. Small group, very attentive crew and I believe we had a much better experience than some of the other large group boats around us. If you are on the fence for which tour to pick, pick this one

Excellent tour guides my first time snorkeling I enjoyed every moment. I even learned some Polynesian history, very interesting story I must say.I recommend this tour you won't 1e disappointed !!!

A fine vessel! The crew and captain were great! Very accomodating and assured a safe experience. A rougher day on the water so not much to see, but still a great experience! Crew can control everything but the ocean.

Great staff! Awesome boat. Well worth it. If you are a more experienced snorkeler, it does get crowded with people in the water and you have to wear a float device. Overall great experience with the kids!

Great kid-friendly experience

This snorkeling adventure was a highlight of our trip! What drew me to the Moana guided tour vs others was the smaller group size and the beautiful catamaran they take you out on. We saw other boats out at Turtle Cove and they were jam packed with people and the experience didn’t look as fun as ours. I enjoyed the sail almost as much as snorkeling. I also read reviews that they are very kid friendly. We found they went above and beyond with our 10 year old who got a little nervous snorkeling. Our 3 year old wasn’t able to snorkel because the sea was a bit rough and we didn’t want her to drift away but they had appropriate sized equipment for her and she really enjoyed the boat. What I feel the reviews kind of miss is how awesome the staff members are! They were super friendly and great with the kiddos. I’d highly recommend snorkeling with this group.

Moana is the best sail and snorkel tour!

Captain was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. She was extremely involved and helped everyone in and out of the water. All staff worked incredibly hard to show us a great time and keep us safe. My six year old was able to see many sea turtles and loved the boat ride. Overall amazing experience!

We had a great time on the boat ride! I was a little nervous because I have a kid who can’t swim very well. We weren’t sure he’d be able to snorkel but the crew made sure he felt comfortable and showed him how to do it from the raft they have. A couple other people were timid swimmers and they showed so much patience and really tried to give everyone a good experience! The boat ride itself was gorgeous and the snorkeling was easy and they knew just where to find the sea turtles!

Everything was perfect! Great time with our 14, 12, 8 and 4 year olds! The crew was awesome and very helpful! We enjoyed the snorkeling adventure so much, we went back the next evening without the kids to relax on a wonderful sunset cruise! Thank you all so much for an unforgettable time!

The staff was incredibly kind with my children. We brought a 8,6 &3 year old along. The boat was beautiful and the experience was lovely! Water was choppy due to wind but we still Saw a lot of turtles. My toddler was too nervous to go into the water but saw turtles from The boat. Float and stairs into water were great options for the kids to use with ease.

Very nice catamaran. The staff were fun and young. They take you to one common reef for seeing turtles and fish. There are many boats and groups there and we saw many species of fish and some sea turtles
