We pick up at the Ocho Rios Jerk centre and Air B&B. The standard time for pickup is 9am, however base on other pickup we will change the time to be a bit earlier or later. If the time changes a representative will contact you a day before your tour.

Samantha our guide was awesome. Omar our driver was great. The Horseback riding and the guides were really good the lunch was good. The flea market shopping was a horrible experience. The stalls are about the size of a tiny closet and then they stand in doorway they all had the same stuff and badfered you to buy even if not interested I bought bag there and on the inside says "made in China ". It will make you claustrophobic on the items we all mass produced and way over price. Very pushy won't take no for an answer

The tour was too expensive and unorganized. Our driver was a sweet man, but his his assistant never introduced herself and told us very little about the area. When we got to the horseback riding, they were not ready and said come back in an hour. So we went to a souvenir store that was way overpriced and unfriendly. After that we went back to the horseback riding venue. That part was fun and memorable! Next we went to lunch. Mine was good, but my friend's was too dry for a good piece of jerk chicken. Also they told us we would have rice and beans with our jerk chicken, but that was not ready (after noon!) After that, the other people on the tour wanted to go to the beach, so Reggie, the driver dropped them off then took us to another souvenir shop where we had to bargain to get the high prices a bit lower. Then he dropped us off at the ship. We felt like our tour was really cut short and not a good value.

We are grateful for your feedback, these feedback helps us to improved our service so we are grateful. I must apologize for the guide not introducing her name and will investigate it asap. She is fairly new so we are happy for this review. Also in reference in the horses been unavailable, it was our busiest time because of the holidays and the attractions was been over booked so we had no control over that situation but we are happy your got to do the tour and it was memorable. Shopping prices are also uncontrollably as the Indians control the gift shops on the island and set their prices something we can not change even if we wanted to but you will never be force to buy. Again the island was extremely busy so possibly why the food run out. We were racing against time during the Christmas period and cruise ship time is extremely important to us so if the tours was cut short it was because of the heavy traffic and Christmas season rush, something we never anticipated was going to be so heavy as we never experienced this before but we were prepared to what our strategy would be to get the tours complete. I am quite sure no guest would want to miss their ship so your guides had to improvise. All we ask our guest to do is seen the situation out side before jumping to their own conclusion. Our best interest is time and safety with all guest.

Great excursion but short

This is a kid, friendly, family fun excursion I would highly recommend! Our driver, Carlos was great. He told us a lot of information about the area and history of Jamaica also took us to a really great food spot. Only reason why I didn’t get five stars was because we felt like both activities were kind of short. We might’ve spent 20-30 minutes on the horse and 15-20 minutes on the raft.

Worst experience ever. While the horse riding was fun and the guys there were great took a buch of pictures and very nice, that is when the good time ended. We were then dropped off at a shop that was over priced and had nothing to buy. Plus there is only one shop so not a shopping trip by any name. The driver and tour guide dropped me and my 21 year old daughter there so they could go take care of other guests. The shop is in the back alley of a place was not a nice area. They came back about anhour later to take us to lunch. The food was okay but very very little amount and you only get 2 choices. The tour guy comes up to us 2 minutes after getting our food to tell us they are waiting to leave and sitting in the van for us.i asked what was next she said we have to drive to get the other group that was doing something else then head back to room. It was going to be over another 2 hours in the van just to get them and drive back for no reason. We where drop off alone and they didn't want us to eat. We were sick of being treated like trash so we got a cab and had them pick us up and take aus back to our resort. Worst thing ever. I had traveled all my life and done many different tours all over the world even used this company before but never again. Refused to give any type of refund. I wasn't asking for everything cause we did ride the horses but that was it. Plus paid $50 for a cabso we could eat and get back to our resort in a reasonable amount of time. Never ever again.

This review is very much false the guest stay 25 minutes away from Ocho Rios and all tours are done in Ocho Rios so there is no way guest could have drive over 2 hours to get back to their resort from Ocho Rios. Also guest was very much racist because of the other group was dark skin that is why the guest come off the van and call themselves red neck and there was nothing we could have done to bring back guest to there hotel their reject us because they did not want to be with the other group so hat is why them take taxi back to their resort.

I absolutely loved every thing about his tour. Driver picked me up from an Ocho Rios airb&b. The staff the helped with the horses are so nice and very helpful. There are also selling souvenirs around the horse stable which isn't too bad. I would recommend this tour I had a great time souvenirs

Memorable Experience

This is a great activity for a family or a group of friends. Our tour guide (Mr. Bright) was knowledgeable, very courteous, and personable. We felt like we knew him already. It was a memorable experience riding horses through the woods and on/in the beach. The shopping was nice, Mr. Bright took us to shops that gave us good bargains. The lunch was great as well. I definitely recommend this experience.

Horse riding fab .. don't be pressured into giving a tip

The horse riding experience was amazing but I felt pressured into giving a tip at the end which I did I only had Jamaican dollars with me and felt humiliated that what I had given wasn't enough as they normally have us dollars! I did see any shopping experience and there was alot of confusion regarding the lunch arrangements eventually solved after an hour after sorting it out

We appreciate your feedback. However the tour comes with transportation. Guest decided to used thier own transportation which made it a little difficult to coordinate the tour smoothly. No guides are allowed to pressure any guest for tips. If this do happen please report immediately so we can stop this from ever reccuring. Again we apologize and so please that you actually enjoyed the horse riding.

Hot mess

This tour was a hot mess from the very beginning. The actual excursion was great and I highly recommend, however I would probably book different transportation. So originally I was supposed to do this excursion on Tuesday but the operator had to cancel because it was raining, completely understandable since mother nature doesn't always cooperate with outdoor activities. I rebooked the tour for Friday so that was fine. When the shuttle arrived to pick up my husband and me on Friday morning it was completely packed to the brim. My husband and I had to squeeze in the front seat with the driver, while the guide squeezed in the back with the rest of the occupants. It was slightly uncomfortable to be squished in but I was trying to stay optimistic at this point and roll with the punches. We arrived at our first stop to ride horses, the staff there was awesome. I give them an A+. Once we were done riding we arrived back to look for our shuttle and they were nowhere to be found. The entire group was wandering around the parking lot for about 10 minutes until the shuttle showed back up. I was a little puzzled because we had been on 5 other tours before this one with different companies and none of the drivers had ever just took off and left their guests. We again tried to keep optimistic and kept on smiling. We then were taken to White river to go rafting, this had me extremely puzzled because I didn't remember my booking saying anything about rafting, but again we rolled with the punches and were herded onto a raft and sent up the river. The rafting ended up being awesome and we had a lovely guide. As we returned from rafting my husband and I were accosted by the guide and told this wasn't part of our tour and we had to pay for the rafting. She told us that they had made a mistake and were supposed to drop us off in Ocho Rios to shop and eat lunch while everyone else on the bus went rafting. Again, super puzzling since none of the other tours we had been on had ever just dropped us off. All of our other guides had stayed with us the entire time, even when there was a big group. My husband explained to her that we had no idea that there were 2 different tours on the shuttle and none of that was communicated to us. She admitted that it was their fault for the mix up but we would still have to pay for the rafting. The tour guide told us that since we didn't get dropped off for lunch or shopping they would stop on the way back to the hotel and we could get lunch to go and would have 15 minutes to shop. Once we got back on the shuttle with the other passengers they told us that they weren't scheduled to do shopping and lunch so they wanted to return to their hotel immediately because that wasn't part of their tour, My husband and I were basically peer pressured into forgoing our lunch and shopping since all the other passengers were upset that they had to make another stop because of us. I completely understand why the other passengers were upset about the extra stop and when my husband explained to them the situation it caused an entire uproar directed toward the driver and the guide. The driver stated that we wouldn't have to pay for the rafting since we weren't going to be able to have lunch or go shopping, at this point we were pretty fed up with everything and were just ready to be back at our hotel. It was a very silent and uncomfortable ride back.

We appreciate all feedback and overjoyed that the tour was fantastic but you had an issue with the ride.. Ok the bus is licensed to carry 15 people, we only had 13 guests in that van. The reason why guests were placed with this group, we had to reschedule because of the rain, which was totally understandable by the Guest. Guest complaint about 10mins delay in getting pickup at the horseback. We apologize for this situation as the driver reported they had a slight emergency. Guests saying that the van took off seemed a bit exaggerated. Another situation was, the host making the mistake of putting two guests on the rafting excursion. Please note this is not a private tour. This is a shared tour which means not everyone is doing the same excursion. Two of our guests didn't book for the rafting but they were mistakenly placed on the raft . Again we apologize for this and suggest that if this happens guests can indicate to the host that they had a different excursion. It was overlooked on the host side but could have easily been fixed. Guests enjoyed the raft but yet compliant about being placed on the raft was a bad situation. This is contradictory to the aim of the guest. Again we apologize for the whole mistake with the host and the excursion. we had advised the host not to collect the $80 for the raft and we would cover that expense. Guests complain that they were peer pressured and could not do lunch or shopping as the others didn't book for that, so again we agologize. This will help us to be informed on tour activities and how to fix each one. So we understand your frustration and we are happy that the excursion was great. So thanks for your feedback.

The ride with the horses was great. They people that take out threw the tour at the actual placed there awesome, he took so many pictures at no charge of course I gaved him tip, but he just took my phone and took so many pictures that was so nice of him. The ride was great. But the actual people from the tour from Viator mmm not that good. Very silent no talk at all in the package it says it takes you threw the city to see ocho ríos and no he didn’t do that he picks your food as well for the food also no choice of drink just water. I felt he rush threw the tour. But at the actual placed the people there was so polite the ride with the horses was great had ab amazing time

Thanks for your review. We see that you thoroughly enjoyed horseback activities and only had a issue with the bus ride. The tour doesn't includes a city tour but your driver can add it in. The driver also informed us, which is against our company policy, that guests made a deal with him for an airport transfer. It seems contrary, if the only issue was the bus ride then why rebook the driver and give a low rating. Also food options include one meat, a side order and a drink or water. This is covered in your tour costs already. However this doesn't limit guests in purchasing additional food for them self at their expense.

20 Minutes of Horse Riding

I was disappointed in this excursion. I booked for my family of 4 for a 3 hour horseback riding tour. The tour was 3 hours, however, we were only on the horses for about 20 minutes. Once we got off the horses, we got on a bus and they took us to shop for about an hour and eat lunch that took an hour. I did enjoy riding the horses but they need to be specific that the horse riding part is only 20 minutes.

I want to say that we are sorry for you not enjoying your tour to the full expectation. I assume that you misunderstood the tour description because the entire tour should have been 3 hours not the horse back riding alone should be 3 hours. Also the horse back riding is approximately 1 hour long because the nature trail ride to get to the beach is 20 minutes and then you get to swim with the horse into the Ocean and then ride back to the stable for another 20 minutes so am not sure how your ride was for 20 minutes but again we are sorry base on your experience. As for lunch the entire process can take an hour at times by ordering, waiting to be serve and eating and also paying the bill, yes i can understand that sometime we get done a little earlier with the lunch process but this is a group tour so we have to wait on everyone, and shopping would have be done to satisfy everyone. WE hope that you can understand that we try to serve all of our customers to the best of our ability trying to always give them an A+ or 5 star tour. WE want to say thanks again for choosing to use us while you were on your vacation in Jamaica and we hope that you will come again to our beautiful island.

Pick up time was changed and was a little late due to traffic and Samantha kept in contact to keep us in the loop what was happening. Horse riding was good and guides took photos for us as well as someone there taking professional photos. Guide stayed with the horse for those that wasn’t comfortable guiding horse on own. Samantha took order of what food and drink we wanted so when got to food place it was ready for when we got there. My son enjoyed the horse ride, I myself liked it but still a bit scared of it as not Rode one for 20 years

Riding horseback in the ocean was amazing. Each instructor made every feel safe and at ease. Samantha was great tour guide she took the time to teach us about the culture. She also took us to an authentic jerk restaurant where we ate some awesome jerk chicken.
