When the sun sets on Winter Park, the area’s natural beauty shines under the fun glow of LED equipped kayaks. Join a guide for this tour of Winter Park’s Venetian style canals. Hop in a clear kayak lit by LED lighting and paddle through the historic area. You’ll learn about the city’s origin, famous residents, and points of interest as you pass by beautiful plants and flowers that surround Rollins College.

  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Most travelers can participate
  • Weight limit is no more than 250 pounds per paddler. We also have a combined limit of no more than 425 pounds for both paddlers in a kayak.
  • Each minor (under 18) must be accompanied in a kayak with an adult (18+)
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

We had a great time. The light up kayak was beautiful in the water. We could see all the way to the bottom of the lake. Our guide Chris was amazing and knowledgeable of the area. He taught us how to properly kayak and made us feel at ease. I would recommend this to everyone.

Fabulous experience! A warm, calm evening… friendly and knowledgeable guide… safe and well maintained kayaks. We paddled through canals connecting three lakes, each with interesting stories, homes, views. The time flew!

The night was perfect with a full moon and fire works. Being out on lake at night was peaceful and relaxing experience.We saw fish and plants under water with our boat light. Chad our guide was excellent. He made sure that we had a memorable experience. I will be back for the day Kayaking.

A Fun Evening of Kayaking

Chris was a great guide, although at times it was a bit hard to hear him. That tiny thing aside, we so enjoyed this. We are NOT young or athletic, and came with minimal kayaking experience. He was helpful and patient. We saw a lovely sunset and ended with moonlight and stars. It was peaceful and beautiful. Got some great pix. Not much in the way of wildlife. Go with the goal of enjoying whatever you see, and the experience of dusk/night kayaking and you will have fun. Most folks can do this. Go for it!

Enjoyed our glass bottom glow in the dark kayak tour! The trip was excellent and the weather wasn’t bad for a January trip. Our guide Chris was amazing and very patient with those who were inexperienced. Definitely recommend this experience. Thank you, Chris!

Chris was a very knowledgeable guide. He was also thoughtful when making sure everyone got an opportunity to get their photos taken by him. Chris also made sure that we spent sometime to enjoy our time on the water to just take a look around and break for rests. My wife and I would highly recommend this. 9.5 out of 10 and a must do at least once. If I had to find anything to nitpick it would be brighter (better) lights for the kayaks. They were bright but would’ve emphasized the experience more in my opinion. Loved it and we’ve already recommended to friends and family!
