What To Expect

Head to SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium at your desired time during opening hours for your exploration of its many sea creatures through a combination of education, marine conservation, and hands-on entertainment.

Browse the themed habitats influenced by Florida's subtropical environment and surroundings, which feature more than 30 displays, an ocean tank, glass tunnel, and video theater. Experience swamps and wetlands, the colorful Florida Keys, and the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. See a giant Pacific octopus from the waters of the Pacific Northwest, watch seahorses feed on small shrimp, spot sea turtles and clownfish, and observe jellyfish floating in a cylindrical tank that mimics ocean tides.

Walk through the glass tunnel for a 360-degree view of stingrays and sharks, and learn about sea urchins, crabs, and others who inhabit shores and tides.

Educating the public is also a focus at Sea Life, so don't miss hosted ray and shark feedings or the other demonstrations during the day, and discover how SEA LIFE supports conservation and breeding programs around the world.

The VR experience was great. It felt like you were really there with the manta rays. The walk through aquarium was fun and the tide pool was an experience. The water was really cold but the texture of the starfish was different than I expected and the anemone was soft and squishy.

The other one (Sea World) is a large amusement park with rollercoasters and larger aquatic life where we are a traditional aquarium located at ICON Park on International Drive. We have over 3000 animals including bonnethead sharks, a loggerhead sea turtle and green sea turtle, zebra sharks, epaulette shark, moray eels, stingrays, axolotls, a wide variety of tropical fish, anemones, giant pacific octopus, seahorses, and much more!

I misread the hours of operations and I missed the event. I reached out to Viator and the customer service agent was less than empathic and only said it was non-refundable. He stated the hours was in my confirmation email which I never looked at. I checked the order confirmation and it directed me to the website which I did and I saw the hours were until 11pm; unbeknownst to me that was for a different event.

Hello, we are sorry that you were not able to visit us at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium. While the tickets are not refundable, they can be used for a different day if they were not scanned. The hours of the aquarium are 11am-7pm on weekdays and 11-8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The last ticketed entry is taken one hour prior to the posted closing hours.

Definitely the food, and smiles on my family’s faces. Vacations are always good. The part of the experience that I could definitely live without is when you enter a venue, they offer to take your picture in such a way that they are basically bullying you into taking the photo….then they turn around and try to sell it to you…

We work to ensure our animals have plenty of space to move around their habitats and this sometimes means limiting how many species are in each one. While we are fun for the whole family, some portions are geared a little more towards the little ones. One neat thing we offer is a 30 minute behind the scenes tour for $10 that goes in depth to how we take care of our animals. It also includes a chance to feed some animals and looks at the laboratory, kitchen, life support, and upper ocean deck to see habitats from above.

These reviews helped me pick the right thing for my family. I have a 4 year old who wouldn’t be able to do VR, so I didn’t select that option due to reading about it first. My kids (and I) had a blast here. Not to mention there’s other things to do in the area besides the aquarium, so when we were finished at sea life, we explored other things around.
