A great day in Nara

We had a wonderful time with Rie! We started early and were a head of the crowds. We came over from Osaka by train and met at the station. Nara is a must see. The temples and shrines are spectacular and the deer were fun.

Great immersive walking tour

First of all, our guide Brian was great. We really enjoyed the immersiveness of his tour. We really enjoyed walkng thru korean town and learning of the history. I really recommend this tour if you doNt mind alot of walking.

A great time in Osaka

With Lito leading the way, this tour was a great way to get a more immersed in the culture! He was knowledgeable and open to changes in the itinerary when he got to know more about what I was interested in. Time flies when you're having fun and this tour went by way too fast, so I booked a food tour right after for dinner too :D

This was the best tour we did in all of Japan. Our guide, Ferdi, zipped us through the city showing us the highlights and providing us with the history and insights of a “local”. The four hours passed so quickly and we were sad to part because we were loving every minute of the tour. He was engaging and so knowledgeable.

The best guide I have had in a very long time. His name is Damian and you should definitely ask for him. His knowledge about Japanese history, religion, myths, and geography of Osaka is fabulous. Best of all was his kindness and consideration of my 80 year old self. He had so much patience and my friend and I appreciated it. The tour covered the "hot" spots as well as places we never heard of and were even more fascinating.

Our Walking Tour of Osaka

We very much enjoyed our walking tour of Osaka, think we got to see multiple aspects of the city. From Osaka Castle to high rise city views, to Koreatown to the Dontonburi, our guide, Damian, gave us fascinating insights into the past and present history of this beautiful city. Despite the heat and humidity that day, Damian made certain our tour was an enjoyable and memorable one.

The castle was picturesque. Don’t miss it. Viewing the Corey from the tallest building was awesome. But the best part of the tour was our tour guide, Damian. He knew everything!! He was professional and helpful. He was also very fun and engaging. He made every stop memorable.

Ripped off by Viator Tour.

We booked a private tour. Max 4 persons. We asked to add one more and the agency agreed for 5000 yen. When we showed up for the tour they had added 6 more people. We want a $300 refund which is more prorata. Would not recommend this agency.

You got your refund, you didn't pay the 5,000 yen, and the extenuating circumstances were explained to you. You had the option to not participate and get a full refund, but instead got a small group tour for four for around $30/person. We tried our very best to accomodate everyone as originally booked, but injury and illness hit our staff hard, and as anyone who visited during this first post-Covid spring in Japan knows, everything was stretched to the absolute limit. Writing hit pieces about companies is really not a nice thing to do. We are all humans doing our very best in sometimes extremely difficult situations. The vast majority of our guests have a fantastic time touring with us. It's just that dissatisfied guests almost always write reviews, and satisfied customers most often do not.
