Tour operator never showed up.

Because of a change with the owners, the people who normally lead this event were not notified of our booking so we booked, paid and drove an hour to meet with the operator and no one showed. Took us about 45 minutes to straighten out what happened and we were finally reimbursed. There should have been better communication.

This was my second time doing this tour and it was a completely different experience… in a good way! I wasn’t sure if the nature walk would be on the same grounds as before, but it was a completely different area. Conan is extremely knowledgeable about the vegetation, bugs, wildlife and history of this area - you can really tell he puts his heart and soul into protecting these grounds. Bring snacks or something to eat on your way to the sound bath and lots of water!

This experience involved two phases. The first was a guided nature walk conducted by Conan who pointed out and described many of the natural wonders we encountered in Joshua Tree National Park. Conan is very knowledgeable, informative and just an all around good person. The second was a guided meditation and sound bath conducted by Ramona. Because recent rains precluded this aspect of the event being conducted in a cave, it was conducted at a medicine wheel property, but nothing was lost in the experience. Very spiritual and relaxing. Conan and Ramona are very nice, grounded, spiritual persons who are a pleasure to interact with.

I am SO glad I booked this! This was the perfect way to experience Joshua Tree. Conan was born and raised in JT and shared a WEALTH of knowledge on the hike. I learned about the 4 native tribes of the JT region, which plants were edible, their medicinal uses, how to tell if a plant is dormant or blooming, etc. Conan also pointed out wildlife that I wouldn’t have noticed. Afterwards my husband and I felt so much more aware of our surroundings for the remainder of our trip. Ramona was a force of nature! Our sound bath was so memorable and special. It was amazing to make time to slow down and connect with myself and I’m grateful we had Ramona and Conan to do that with. They’re genuinely kind, friendly, disarming people who make you feel comfortable right away. They both radiant love and light it’s hard not to feel happy when you’re with them! Do yourself a favor and book this experience. I guarantee you’ll have a wonderful time. Thank you, Conan & Ramona!

great getaway for girls trip

I organized a girls getaway to Palm Springs and found this gem for a day trip. The desert walk and soundbath/meditation were amazing. The soundbath and meditation was the best that I have ever experienced. Ramona is so special and the sound/music in a cave was a memory we will never forget. IMO this is better than driving and going through Joshua Tree National Park. This is 15 min away and a much better/special place. For the meditation, bring WARM clothes and blankets. It did get very cold in the cave.
