What To Expect

You are not alone if you believe that Parisians are short-tempered, impatient or arrogant. Celebrated French comedian Olivier Giraud agrees and has created this hilarious one-man show, performed in English, revealing the legendary stereotypes of Parisians.

Your evening comedy show takes place at the Théâtre des Nouveautés, near Paris’ Grands Boulevards metro station. Take your seat in the section of your choice (see Additional Info for a seating chart). Please note: This show is not recommended for children under 16.

Giraud nails the stereotypes of Parisians through impersonations and impressions of waiters, shop assistants, bartenders, and even your average old lady hobbling down the street.

Plus, Oliver Giraud teaches you how to become Parisian in every way, including when to use those famous pursed lips and expressive eyebrows. Learn how to recognize Parisian facial expressions, how to dress and interact with others and how to use iconic French phrases correctly. You might just get called up on stage to try out your skills.

It was a fun show…a nice diversion from a hectic tour of Paris. The theatre is centrally located and was an east walk for us.

Outdated, humorless and insulting to the French and Americans.

Dear Tricia, thank you for taking the time to write your review on viator and trip advisor. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your evening. How can you say that I am insulting to Americans and French people. My show is about the cultural differences between Parisians and the rest of the world. There's a lot of second degres and sarcasm, which you obviously didn't understand. If you read the description of the show, it says that the show is not recommended for under 16s because there is a 5-minute section dealing with sexuality in Paris. Warm regards from Paris !

MUST DO for anyone who understands English while in Paris! The many Parisians in the audience loved it and there were people from all over the world. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been to Paris often or first time. Show is perfect length, not too long. NB: there are many cute and reasonable cafes in the area, including a sit down creperie right across the street.

Very Funny! Olivier was witty and charming while engaging the audience in a fun look at being Parisian. We had a great time in this beautiful Theatre. Be aware the seating is very compact.

Haha! Well, the show was great and would have been lovely enough, except I also got picked to go up on stage and help to demonstrate (or learn lol) how a Parisian lady might dance in a club to get a fella to buy her a drink - and that was quite embarrassing and yet super fun too! Even got Olivier's book and he posed with audience after the show for selfies. A very recommendable experience!

Seems we are just too old for this type of entertainment. We did not find the risqué language or delivery to be acceptable. However, most of the audience seemed to enjoy the experience.
