What To Expect

This area of Arizona is so rich in Native American history and culture. On this full-day trip from Phoenix, you will visit ancient ruins at either Tuzigoot National Monument or Montezuma Castle National Monument. One of the largest pueblos ever built by the Sinagua some time between 1100 and 1450 AD is at Tuzigoot National Monument. You’ll see the ruins of a building that once consisted of two stories and 110 rooms. Wonderfully preserved Montezuma Castle National Monument is an easily accessible structure built into a cliff about 70 feet (21 meters) above the ground. Here, find an impressive five stories and 20 distinct rooms.

Before returning to Phoenix, visit The Chapel of the Holy Cross, a modern chapel built into the buttes, as well as massive Bell Rock, one of Sedona's most popular red rock formations. You'll likely find the red-rock formations of Sedona awe-inspiring. Don't forget your camera to capture the vast landscapes.

SO Glad we did the tour
Maria_R, Apr 2024
Our Numerology reading was wonderful! Diane helped us choose the right place. Very glad we did the tour, we would have missed allot of sites had we tried to do this on our own. Diane was fun, friendly and Very informative. I would definitely not think twice about booking another tour.
Perfect Day Trip

The Native American ruins and seeing the red rocks of Sedona were the highlight of this trip. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with dad jokes. I would have preferred to spend a little more time at Bell Rock. This is definitely a must do if you’re in Arizona!

I was traveling solo and both the guide and other passengers made me feel part of the group! Exploring the red rocks was the best experience! Highly recommended!

Sam and Mark were excellent. They told us great stories and learned a lot of new information. We had great stops and we even had an extra stop. He gave us great recommendations and would go out of his way to show us birds, food recommendations or other things he notices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Fun!

I saw a few things I didn’t know were there, very cool! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable - she even had playlists of songs that were specific to the areas we saw - that was fun! I appreciated all the prep work she did to keep us informed and entertained.

The tour was perfect the Sedona desert is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in my lifetime. The scenery on the way to the desert is incredibly spectacular. Our tour guide Diane had the gift of storytelling and a thorough knowledge of Sedona’s history very informative tour.
A wonderful day with fantastic scenery and exploring Sedona shops
Richard_B, Feb 2024
The scenery was fantastic and the early morning really brought out a lot of the beautiful colours and features of the landscape. The exploring/shopping time in Sedona seemed like a long time (~3 hours) but actually went really quickly given the shops were so interesting and unique. A couple of beers whilst looking the mountains was very relaxing. Our tour guide Robert did and awesome job of providing good facts and a couple of laughs. Recommended.
Great Tour

The sites were beautiful. Montezuma’s Castle was so interesting and Sedona was breathtaking. Our guide, Shannon, added to the tour with her unique Native American perspective. She was knowledgeable and showed concern towards all the passengers. If she were to guide a Native American site tour, we would sign up immediately. Thank you for the great experience!
Awesome experience

Shannon is a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed her insights into the landscapes and Navaho culture. She went above and beyond to customize our tour to make it a memorable experience. The ride was comfortable and the large shuttle van windows gave us access to amazing views.
Terrific tour, seamless experience, perfect guide.

Everything was perfect. Mark was an incredible guide, best I ever experienced. The tour itself was spectacular. For me the ruins and the church are not to be missed. I’ll never forget this day.
Great and fun experience

The guide was very efficient- we got to see attractions before the crowds got there and had time for the McDonald pics with the blue arches - icing on the cake
Great day trip.

Great fun day trip. We had Laurel as our tour guide. She was fun and energetic. We spent 2 hours in Sedona which gave us plenty of time to eat and shop. Highly recommend this tour if you don't want to drive and deal with trying to park at some of the stops.
Worth the time!

The red rocks of Sedona are beautiful and captivating. The Chapel of the Holy Cross was a spiritual experience for both me and my husband. We wish the shopping time in Uptown Sedona was cut by at least an hour. Since we had to accommodate a member of our group who joined a last-hour Jeep tour offer, we had almost three hours of shopping time. Much too long. Montezuma's Castle was a fascinating place; I would have loved a little more time there instead of at the Sedona shopping district. Our tour guide was congenial and informative and friendly. We appreciated the pickup and drop off at our hotel but the more than 12-hour tour felt a little long for us "old folks".

The entire Sedona tour was magic for me. I loved having time with John (tour guide) as he was super knowledgeable. But also loved that we were allowed time to explore on our own. Montezuma castle was super interesting and loved it. Also bell rock and red rock formations. The chapel including the female vortex principle was mesmerizing. Its hard to pick any favorites - the entire nature and rock/mountain rages is breathtaking and you cannot go wrong with this tour. Much better than doing it on your own as there is so much history and facts supplied by the tour-guide. I recommend it to anyone wanting to visit. John was the most amazing tour guide I ever had.
