For the Tulum Hotel Zone or Tulum Downtown the meeting point is the Super Aki Supermarket at 09:15 am. Tulum does not have a hotel pick-up service.

Australian people expect more than this treatment

We were told we were going to have Engligh speaking guide at the ceynotes and we did not or he did not want to speak to us,so we had no info about anything and we did not know to experience the ceynotes you had to swim.We took pics and waited around for the others to get out and then go to the next one and do it again!!not a good time.The tour was supposed to be 6 to 7 hrs, from pickup to return was 4hrs.Too expensive for some pics and standing around for 2 hrs

Not what it seems

A lot of money for the experience you receive. The transportation was sketchy and didn’t feel like I was paying for a professional service. I understand if the tour was cheaper. Felt unsafe at times and the communication was poor. The tour guide was nice and you could tell she was trying her best but they picked us up in a shuttle, had us get off in a gas station parking lot in the middle of town and squeeze 6 of us into a tiny car. Very hot and uncomfortable. Would rather go with a different company next time.

Beware of Casa Tortugas cenote

The cenotes were filthy. We had our snorkeling mask and could see band-aids and trash on the bottoms. The water was sedentary, not flowing. I have been sick for two days. I have scuba in many other cenotes and the waters were clear high visibility and flowing. These cenotes are very unsanitary.

We originally had this tour scheduled, but not enough people were going on this so it was canceled the night before. Luckily the tour company contacted me and gave me an alternative tour for that day. We went to a cave cenote and swam with turtles. It ended up being a great day. Our tour guide, Jorge, was amazing! Super entertaining and really funny. Our driver was awesome too!

Nice Cenote park

We went on this tour 3/23. It felt more like just a pick up and transport to the park. There were 6 of us in our group. The tour covers the cost of entrance however, our tour guide had informed us we needed to be a group of 15 before getting a local guide to take us to the cenotes. We could wait to join another group or pay more to go as 6 people. We opted to pay extra $30 as a group to go as 6 people. This was an additional fee we didn't know about. Overall our local tour guide at the actual park was great, Martin, however he is not part of the tour operator. The cenotes were nice and not too crowded at the time we went around 10am. We were picked up at 9am and ended the tour at 12:30pm so this was a nice half day. Our driver took us to the park, for lunch, then back. Tacos at the end were offsite at a taco stand in Tulum. If you can find a transport company to take you there and back for cheaper, cover your entrance fee, locker, paying the local guide at the park, and do lunch on your own, that would easily be just the same as booking this tour.

Absolutely worth it!

Really fun tour! We thoroughly enjoyed the cenotes tour. We got picked up from our hotel on time and had our guide check us in and get us our wristbands. When we arrived at the cenotes, they suggested we upgrade to a private tour which was 500 pesos which was totally worth it! We had such a fun time touring the grounds and playing in the water. We purchased the photo package which was $150 US. I would recommend bringing a towel and renting a locker while you are there. We had a great taco lunch afterwards and made it back to our hotel in a very timely fashion! I would absolutely recommend! It was a highlight of our trip!

It’s giving chaotic vibes

This is the honest review you’re looking for. The cenotes themselves were really pretty and exciting - but don’t be fooled it’s not an intimate group of less than 12 as promised. Once you get to the cenotes you merge with 5 other groups and then your now group of 50 are herded together like cattle in a single file line through the cenotes while the Mexican tour guide shouts instructions at you. Also you only have like 10 minutes at each cenote. The rest of the time is waiting around for the rest of the people and transportation - annoying right. Now this next review is personalized to our trip (god help me) after the cenotes were done our group that travelled together got into the van. Then three members of our group were like “ we were promised an hour of free time after the cenotes”. So the bus driver then says if we have the hour of free time then you won’t get lunch that you paid for- (the bus driver was like “I won’t be able to find the lunch if we don’t get there soon”) and the bus driver made it our problem to decide, and because our group was divided in half on the issue the bus driver was like “I’ll flip a coin on it”??? Like what??? So then we in the end had 22 minutes of free time at the cenotes. So we got back out of the bus and walked around for what felt like a literal minute and then got back in the bus. Also the lunch place was modestly yummy but gave like broken down wooden hut vibes. Also while we were standing around waiting for the rest of the groups at the cenotes to arrive, I asked what we were waiting for because at the time we didn’t know( poor communication). And the bus driver told me “don’t worry, be happy”. So I’m really trying to channel that energy while writing this review LOL.

We have gone on many excursions, this was by far the worst Not because of the Cenotes. The Cenotes were amazing but this was supposed to be a 4-5 hour trip it turned into a 15 hour trip. NEVER BOOK WITH THEM! Bad food. Poor planning, All around bad experience.

Great activity to see 4 cenotes in 1 location!

If I could give zero stars I would. They advertised pick up time at 8 AM, but changed it at 6 PM the night before to 9:50 AM. Given that this was less than 24 hours before the event, it was too late to cancel. They wouldn’t take my phone calls or Viators. They also couldn’t find our Air Bnb, even though I provided the pin point on my map & the cross streets.

This experience was great fun! Just know that the mosquitos will eat you alive because you can’t wear mosquito repellent when swimming in cenotes in order to protect the health of the water. It’s totally worth it though! I would say I was very disappointed that the photographer didn’t take a single photo of me because I was there solo without a phone. He instead focused his entire effort on the large group that was with me but all had GoPros and we’re taking their own photos and videos anyway. The shuttle driver was great and the taco spot he took us to after was amazing, authentic and delicious.
