Pickup is available from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum & any place in the Riviera Maya. If you are in Cozumel, we can do the pickup at the ferry dock at Playa del Carmen. We pick you up at the lobby of your hotel or Airbnb. Suggested pickup time is 6:30 am but we are happy to accommodate the schedule to your wishes.

Abraham was a wonderful guide for the day- with lots of interesting information to share about Chichen Itza. He was prompt, friendly, a great resource for our kids and ordered us a delicious lunch! He helped make our day truly memorable, yet entirely stress-free. We all learned a lot and had so much fun. Having done the larger group tours on buses to Chichen Itza in the past, I'd 100% recommend this trip. It's worth the extra cost to have a personalized and crowd-free day.

The VIP Chichen Itza experience started off with great text/email communication with the company to remind of items to bring and who our tour guide would be. Aranzazu picked us up promptly at the established time and was very knowledgeable and friendly during the whole experience. He went above and beyond answering questions and providing history of the places we visited and was always ensuring our needs were met. We were lucky to get to Chichen Itza right as it opened and beat the crowds. Just prepare accordingly with sun protection gear as it gets very hot very quickly ! We chose to go to lunch before the cenote which was great and then finished with a refreshing swim in the cenote. 10/10 tour!

It was a great day! Juan was a wonderful guide and great with our 6 year old. I was worried the day would be too much for a kid but the way it was broken up was great. Chichén Itzá, then swimming in the súper cool cenote, and then food. We loved it.

Carlos was a terrific guide! The private tour is very definitely the way to go. Carlos got us there at opening, steering us through the queues, and we had the place to ourselves before the crowds arrived. Our grandsons loved the incredible cenote swim and the lunch featured gourmet versions of Yucatec cuisine. Thanks for a great day! Highly recommended.

Arnie was our tour guide for the day, and highly recommend taking this tour. The private experience is 100% worth it, and allowed us to feel unrushed, ask our questions, get pictures, and spend any free time the way we wanted as a small group. Arnie was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our many many questions both on history as well as current day, and was like spending the day with a friend. Being able to have the day taken care of, skip long lines, and have the focus be our experience made this day a special memory for our group and would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Communication ahead of the tour was also exceptional and felt well prepared for the day and meeting the morning of.

Do yourself a favor if you're planning a visit to Chichen Itza and book this private tour through Viator. The tour guide (Hebert) was so passionate and knowledgeable about the site's history, telling us illustrative tales of the past, while showing us the ruins that remain beautifully intact. I had been to Chichen Itza back in the early 90's, but had no idea what I was looking at and this made the whole experience come alive. Also do yourself a favor and get there EARLY in the morning before hundreds of other tourists arrive and the heat of the day begins to wipe you out. Hebert was extra attentive to my group's multi-generational needs and made the whole day one to remember. We also went to a wonderful lunch and visit to a cenote. Of our 10 days in the area -- this day was the family favorite. Can't recommend this tour enough!

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide was fantastic! Definitely worth the extra money. We got to the destinations ahead of the big busses giving us a chance to experience locations without the crowds.

Wow. What a day!! Isaac met us (UK family of 4 with 2 children aged 7 & 9) at our hotel reception as planned (great communication before and on the morning he messaged to say he had arrived (5 mins early). Lovely spacious car and off we went to Chichen Itza. Interesting to note that there was an hour time difference between Playa Del Carmen (CI being one hour behind) so having left at 6.15 and the 2.5(?) hour drive we were there for door opening at 8am. Tickets were already sorted so we were in quickly with no queueing. We were given chilled water upon arrival and a wonderful tour of the site. He was well prepared with materials to explain things and really patient with our children who ask A LOT of questions! He made the trip for them as they really felt involved and included. It was so interesting for us adults too. After this we went to the Cenote (again more chilled water) which was still quite quiet as many people would still be at Chichen Itza - the amount arriving as we left was crazy! The Cenote was amazing and stunning. It was chilly getting in but okay and not as cold as I’d expected. Life jackets were by the water and you just help yourselves. We had goggles so could look into the great expanse of the 40m water. There were small catfish in the water which our daughter was a bit scared of but she ended up jumping in off the side (as our son did too) so clearly managed okay ultimately! The kids both had wet suit style tops (from home) which probably helped them with the temperature as we were in over a hour which is seemingly a very long time. There were changing rooms and showers. You can’t wear sunscreen or insect repellent but we didn’t feel anything biting. We then went for lunch which we’d pre ordered in the car. The lunch was lovely although there weren’t children’s options. The lunch was at a Spanish inspired town and we had a little walk around before driving back. Such a wonderful day and really couldn’t have been better! Thanks Isaac!

Excellent tour provided. Pick up was on time. A very large vehicle for us which gave us all space to move and nap on the journey! Isaac, our tour guide was friendly, polite and knowledgable. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. For note, we have a 7 and 4 year old. This tour worked perfectly. We’re also vegetarian an a different lunch option was made available to us.

We had an outstanding trip with Juan as our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and clearly is well studied in the Mayan culture and history. We arrived early to Chichen Itza easily getting into the site right as it opened. Juan made sure we hit all the best photo opps and was able to answer all of the questions of our aspiring archeologists. After Chichen Itza we got to use the swing rope to jump into the Oxman Cenote. So magically beautiful and refreshing. Juan brought us to a fantastic restaurant where we feasted on the most delicious food yet on our trip. It was was nice to be so well taken care of on our tour. If we could give Juan a 10 star review we would. Thanks to to the team behind the scenes that made our trip a success (Gaby, Fernanda, Catalina & Damion) It was day filled with great experiences and wonderful memories . THANKS!!!

We really enjoyed our trip to Chichen Itza. Our guide Carlos is a great guide. He got us there early to avoid the crowds and the heat. He is very knowledgeable about Chichen Itza. He answered our questions and showed us pictures of Chichen Itza in the past and now. Although the private tour is more expensive, it is totally worth of it. And the tour company is very proactive to let us know what to expect for the trip.

Fabulous trip. Our guide Oscar was great. He knew what's up and was super friendly and informative. The trip was on our schedule, so we could take as much or as little time as we wanted. The cenote was super fun too. Something unique. The company recommended we actually get picked up at 6:30 am which was 100% the right move. We got to Chichen Itza early and were able to take plenty of photos without crowds.
