So many waterfalls!

The entire tour. The drive there was so beautiful and scenic, we got to to a small hike, saw 4 waterfalls, as well as a couple more places such as Vista House, the bridal veil post office. Tour guide was so sweet and had so much information to share.

Great tour with a passionate guide!

The tour was really fun! Despite the typical Portland weather, the sites were fantastic. The tour van was comfortable, the driving was safe and snacks/water were provided. I appreciated the local perspective on the Portland area provided by the guide and loved the knowledge they shared about the local flora and fauna. They seemed very passionate about the area and sharing it with others. My only issue was that the meeting point had changed and I didn't receive a message about it - I think perhaps because I'm not from the US. I would have liked to have received a Viator message to avoid this in the future, but the guides were able to accommodate me regardless so no harm done.
Jaw dropping scenery

I did not have an idea of what to do in Portland so I’m glad to have found this tour! This is highly recommended! Scottland was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable on each of the area we went to! He definitely made our half a day in Portland well spent and memorable.
Amazing Excursion!!!
Adrian_J, Apr 2024
Guide was unbelievably nice and knowledgeable about Portland and Columbia River Gorge area. This is the best way to do this excursion, as it’s an intimate group setting with max 6-8 other travelers with you in a Sprinter van, and you don’t have to drive. Plus, the guide gives so much historical info that you wouldn’t get otherwise. Such value for the price paid. We did the morning half day trip which was perfect. We also went on a Sat and came in from the Vancouver WA waterfront. So far less traffic than normal to deal with. The snacks and water were a nice touch. And the guide gives you time to yourselves to go and explore and various stops. Did some fun light hiking at Bridal Veil, but nothing too strenuous. Highly recommend layering and having a solid rain shell, as well as a packable puffer, in the Spring. And good waterproof trail shoes or hiking boots. Even locals regularly go to see the falls, so this is not a boring or cheesy trip. Seeing these falls was amazing - sheer beauty and magnificence was comparable to the first tile I went snowboarding at a nice resort (like Tahoe or Big Bear).
Loved this trip!

The trip was great, Sarah our guide was great, knowledgeable & interesting. I wish other people who join tours can be more respectful & courteous. A group talked loudly as Sarah tried to explain the areas we were passing through. We could hardly hear what the guide was saying !
