The tour was fun, our guide, Kai, was great. there was just a little bit of delay in kicking things off. I have also done tours like this that last around 1 and a half hours, and I feel like the length could be longer!

The girl who was in charge of leading our group was kinda boring and didn't seem to actually care about anyone

I found this one a little less than interesting just cuz most of the stuff she said was so, dropped in volume and kinda monotone and not very involving. She didn't really seem to care about any of the stuff she was talking about? I don't know. If I were the boss and she showed me how dull she was, I'd fire her and get myself someone who could be actively involved in the show and actually have some skin in the game? Not trying to tell you how to do your job, just making you aware of possible situations that you might wanna get taken care of sooner rather than later. :-)

Unprofessional! Avoid!

We signed up and paid for a non-refundable 7pm tour on our first night in Portland. At 6:30 pm we were asked by the operator if we would be willing to go on their 9pm tour instead. We said that was fine even though 7pm was our first choice. Their instructions clearly stated to meet at the pickup point 15 minutes before the tour was set to begin. At 8:45 we arrived by Uber at a closed restaurant on a street with no open businesses and no where to sit. We were definitely at the correct address - a closed juice bar by the name of Harlow. We thought they would have someone there to greet us. We communicated by text that we were there and waited. The operator said she was on her way a few minutes later. I asked for an ETA and got radio silence! We continued to wait there in the dark. At 9:10 pm we called an Uber and left. Then I asked Viator for a refund and this operator had the nerve to claim that we went on the tour! It has been over 72 hours and Viator still claims they are waiting for a response from these people. Don't waste your time or money.

I have been on about 10-20 ghost tours all over the US (and even the UK) and this one was top 3 for me. Victoria was amazing. The tour was the perfect mix of history and haunts. The weather was perfect and we will be returning to do a private tour to go inside all the haunted places with her!

Portland Ghost Tour: Meh….

Friendly and enthusiastic host. Old town Portland has lots of character. Supposed to be 1hr but was 2.2hrs long. Too much loose Portland history and not enough ghosts and paranormal. My advice, skip it and go straight to Old Town Pizza and the Shanghai tunnel tour unless things get tightened up.

It was very good, but very long. I appreciated the extra information but please advertise as 2 hours instead of one. We have done a lot of ghost tours and thought that content wise this was one of the better ones, but we would have appreciated a break to use the bathroom/ grab a drink.
