Great Tour

Francesco the tour guide was very charismatic and friendly. He was able to give us a great view into the world of Pompeii. Transportation was a bit late on the way back. Would have also like a little bit more time exploring Pompeii but overall enjoyed the tour.

We had a brilliant tour guide at Pompeii called Francisco - he was incredibly knowledgable, characterful and made our tour a lot of fun. The transfer to and from our Airbnb was v efficient. The small minibus was on time and super comfortable. Defo recommend!

Best tour for all of POMPEI

The best tour for Pompei and the best one we’ve been on in Italy so far. This is for 4 very important reasons!! The first being the hotel pickup and drop off in a very clean, comfortable, and new Mercedes van, second being the early arrival to Pompei before the crowds, third being the very small group unlike all the other massive tour groups we saw, and lastly our guide SASA, the most passionate, knowledgeable, animated guide who was just a wealth of knowledge about the culture, the people, the history and kept it engaging and fun even for our 8 year old. I truly wasn’t interested in Pompei until he started talking. This tour felt like a private one, there were only two other couples that joined us for a total of 7 of us, so we didn’t need headsets and being an hour earlier than most tours, the place was very quiet, empty, we got the best pictures and videos without a ton of people in any of them. As we were leaving, we saw hoards of groups, most 25+ or more, and no empty spaces in every courtyard, room, street, or walkway through the city. Sasa did such a great job of illustrating and story telling to give us an accurate picture of what life was like then, how to identify stores and who owned them, the water system, lighting systems, an iconic mosaic, the bodies, art, and so many other interesting things. After the tour, we were hungry and the driver did NOT rush us, told us we could get food, let us eat while he waited till we were ready to leave. The entire production of this tour was extremely well organized, professional, and I was so glad I somehow found this tour above the others!!!!

This trip was honestly quite the rip off. It was way too short and we were rushed through every single exhibit. The guide was good but she raced through information and her English was very hard to understand. She spent roughly 5 minutes in each exhibit and it was clear we were being rushed out for the quickest trip possible. Definitely NOT worth the $330 aud EACH.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative but it was difficult to hear her several times during the tour due to the number of visitors and other tour groups at Pompeii. We were given an audio device on 2 previous tours which helped immensely - I feel it would have made this tour much more enjoyable and worth our time and $.

Excellent Tour With Courteous, Professional Driver

This trip was fantastic, everything we wanted when we booked. Our driver was perfectly on time in the morning and we shared the car with another couple. Upon arriving in Pompeii, all the people arriving from Positano for the tour were split up into small groups of about 7-8 people. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the site and was able to keep the group moving so that we covered a lot of the ruins in the 2 hour window with enough time to stop and take a lot of pictures. On the way back Our driver even stopped at a scenic overlook for the group to get out and take pictures of the beautiful coastline. We arrived back at our hotel right on time as well.
