What To Expect

Start relaxing immediately with a glass of Prosecco after you board, as the captain takes care of everything. During the cruise, your private 33-foot (10-meter) boat goes no faster than 25 knots, so you can sit back and enjoy the views of picturesque coastal towns along the way.

All cruises offer a pause for swimming or snorkeling before heading back to enjoy the stunning views on the charming village Positano while the sky changes in beautiful pastel colors.

As your boat cruises along, sip Prosecco and other beverages and nibble on light snacks, including some local specialties such as tarallucci (a breadstick or cookie in a twisted or circular shape). Towels and snorkeling gear are provided during the cruise as well.

After the sun dips below the mountains, your captain guides the boat back to your departure port of Positano.

We had the absolute best time on this! Our Captain was so great and took us around and told us a lot about Positano and pointed out very beautiful sites along the way. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and perfect since it was just my husband and I, and a bottle of champagne of course, it made it even more special. I would highly recommend this to everyone wanting to book this! This was a piece of our honeymoon that we will never forget! We will most definitely be back and doing this again!

We had a wonderful time on our sunset cruise! Our tour guide was Fabio and he was so kind and fun. It was quite windy, but he made the best of it still finding us calm water to swim in, taking pictures of us, and showing us some cool areas and landmarks! Beautiful sunset was the icing on the cake.

Our last night in Positano, and it ended up being my favorite part of the entire stay (as much as I loved everything else about the town). We were on a wedding anniversary trip, and our captain was just WONDERFUL. We are having a difficult time remembering his name (it was only 2 weeks ago!), but we think something like Gian Carlo. We could not have been happier with the excursion…he was lovely, told us lots of interesting things about the area, and when I asked if we were allowed to go faster, he laughed and said that he’d never had that request before! Probably one of the most enjoyable and relaxing experiences we have done on our trip to Positano. Everything was well organized and on time; the light snacks and drinks were a nice touch. Our sunset cruise with Bluestar Positano was one of the highlights of our entire Italy trip! We were nervous that we wouldn't get to go, as it had just started lightly raining before our tour. We arrived a little bit early to the tent, and Elisabeth and the staff were super friendly and arranged for us to go out a little early to try to avoid the storm. Our captain Salvo gave us a great tour of the coast despite the weather and made us feel safe the entire time. We also enjoyed hearing him talk about the different landmarks and towns. When it was time to head back, the storm picked up, but he got us back safely and securely, and we were met at the dock by Blue Star's staff with an umbrella to escort us to a nearby restaurant to stay dry. I cannot thank Blue Star enough for going above and beyond to make us feel safe and comfortable. We had a blast and loved getting to see beautiful Positano from the sea. It was a wonderful way to spend our anniversary evening, and we cannot wait to come back and do it again. Highly recommend this great family-run business with beautiful boats and an amazing team.
