Very knowledgeable and competent crew - would do again!

Our marine biologist was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! This is only a two person crew and it was a nice sized group for this vessel. They could maneuver quickly to keep up with the whales and they made sure we were able to take advantage of the whales and dolphins that were still in the bay. We highly recommend them!

It was amazing to see the whales. Because it was late in the season a lot of the whales had already left, according to the biologist. However we still saw quite a few. The staff was very welcoming and served a decent lunch. A very good experience.

The crew was so professional and they knew what they were doing! Educated us on the Humpback whale and took us to many pods of whale, up to 7 in one pod. We were able to hear the whales communicating as well! Would go again for sure!

This was a great tour! We really saw a lot of whales around the small boat. Our guide Abraham has great knowledge of whales and their behavior and he shared it in interesting stories. I recommend this tour to anybody willing to see whales in their real environment.

This was an amazing experience. Thalia was so knowledgeable about the whales and taught my mom and I so much. We saw 32 whales that morning. The small boat is a huge advantage. There is room to move around and see everything. Thalia even makes you lunch for the excursion. Everything was top notch.

Nathalie was a very knowledgeable guide. She and Angel got us within a legal, respectful distance of the whales. We followed a competition pod and hung out in the playpen with several mother/baby pairs. One youngster came close to see if we wanted to play! We learned so much. Our trip with Vallarta Natours was a fantastic experience. Thalia, a marine biologist, impressed me with her experience, knowledge and expertise and Angel is a great captain. We saw many male, female and young whales, and playful dolphins. The boat was a perfect size and very comfortable. This is a small group experience - much better than the inflatables and for sure better than the larger, mass group boats. Book early because the spots fill up quickly.

Fantastic whale watching. We saw up-close interactions with the males and females. The marine biologist onboard was very knowledgeable and her insights really enhanced the entire experience. We took this same tour in 2020 and were so impressed we made sure to book again this time . On the way back in we were served a small but adequate and very good lunch that was perfect after an exciting morning of whale watching. Would definitely recommend and would book this tour again.

Our guide Talia, a doctoral candidate in Marine Biology whose primary research interest is fighting behavior in male whales during mating season, was extremely informed on what we were seeing and yet able to relate it to us in an understandable way. And made it entertaining and funny. And we saw 22 whales/ 3 species of dolphins!

We saw tons of whales popping out of the water! Dolphins all over the place. The boat was really fun, small and comfy for the trip. The guide was educated and knowledgeable to the point where it was impressive. I really liked the homemade sandwich. My wife and kids enjoyed it a lot too. Everything was on time, convenient and fun. Loved it!
