Good food and history combined
RONALD_S, May 2024
Pierre, our guide, was fabulous providing us with the perfect combination of history and information about food in Quebec. Highly recommend this tour. Especially enjoyed the French onion soup and beer at the microbrewery as well as the delicious shrimp at the continental restaurant.
Best Tour Offering in Old Quebec City!
Vicki_S, Apr 2024
We were not only treated to delicious food & drink options but a delightful walking tour in Old Quebec City. Danielle was a most knowledgeable guide and had many interesting anecdotes in addition to a great "history lesson." She was in continual contact with the 4 restaurants we visited to ensure everything was set up prior to each arrival. The four restaurants were absolutely wonderful. Started with lovely heirloom tomato salad with foam cheese dressing; to the BEST onion soup I have ever had; to an amazing shrimp flambé prepared tableside; served with saffron rice, asparagus & Vichy carrots; and finally, the award-winning Le Clan with a delicious quail with mushrooms and maple morsels and dessert of brownie w/maple caramel foam topped w/ candied pecans. All offerings were paired with beverage - whether wine, beer or non-alcoholic option, it was so much more than expected. Book this tour with Danielle and be delighted!
Quebec is a food destination

Spring break in Quebec City
Sandra_G, Mar 2024
We had a wonderful experience touring Old Quebec and enjoying delicious food with Lyne as our guide! She took us to several fabulous restaurants and we enjoyed learning the history of the city as she pointed out hidden details along the way. Lyne and Émilie (owner of HQ Services Touristiques) were great with our kids (10 and 12), listened to their stories, answered questions, and even arranged for special mocktails at each restaurant for them to enjoy! Restaurant staff was always ready for us to arrive, with food and drinks served promptly. We learned the story behind each restaurants and meal served as well. Tip: Book this tour for your first day to get the lay of the land. You'll know exactly where to go for all the best food and drinks for the rest of your visit. Also thank you, Lyne, for the Cabane a Sucre tip! I hadn't had a proper "sugar shack" meal since moving away from Quebec years ago, and it really took me back! Thank you Lyne and Émilie!
Better than described

GREAT COMPANY
1muneca, Jan 2024
My drive to get to Quebec city of five hours turned into seven and the half hours causing us to miss the tour. HOWEVER I need to thank and congratulate the wonderful tour guide who was fantastic communicator. While I was driving the guide called in order to get an update of my arrival time. He was so nice and helpful, also very, very accommodating as well as the owner. There were different resolutions to our delay by the weather which we have NEVER experienced and we have taken tours on all of the continents. THIS COMPANY IS FANTASTIC - LOTS OF RESPECT!!!!
If you like food and history- this is your tour!

Pamela_R, Dec 2023
Overall this was a great tour. The onion soup was to die for. I loved how our guide gave us recommendations for other places to eat and things to try during our stay here in Quebec - they were all spot on. I could have used a little more history during the tour, esp when we were in Place Royale
Unique and wonderful experience
LINDA_T, Dec 2023
Our tour guide was Lynn and she was excellent. This was the highlight of our trip to Quebec City! The restaurants were excellent. We had a different course at each restaurant. The last spot was a great surprise! All food was exceptional. We learned a little bit of history as we walked around old Quebec City.
Very enjoyable tour

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and delicious courses along the way. Our tour guide Danielle was very informative, entertaining and enjoyable! She brought everything to life! The onion soup was wonderful as was the shrimp entree at The Continental and dessert at Le Clan. Our family had a fantastic afternoon!!
Great time in Quebec with a great tour guide!
Joy_C, Nov 2023
Lynn was our guide and gave us a wonderful history as we walked through the charming areas of the lower city and then the upper city. The food selections were delicious and plentiful! We were stuffed by the last stop. This tour is a bit expensive but is a special treat and we felt it was absolutely worth the splurge!
Best Food Tour Ever!
Rebeca_H, Oct 2023
This tour hands down was one of the best food tours my husband and I have ever done and we have done several from Charleston, SC, to Edinburgh, Scotland, to Athens, Greece to name a few. We received a phone call the day of the tour to confirm any food allergies/restrictions, normally we have none, but I’m pregnant with our first child so I did have to list a few items I couldn’t have. The very nice young man over the phone, that we got to meet later (and was just as sweet and welcoming in person) was very thorough to ensure all my restrictions were clear and congratulatory throughout the call! We even moved our tour to the next day as we had an impromptu obligation come up the day of the tour and he/the tour company was very accommodating! We ended up having a private tour as the other couple scheduled did not arrive, at first I was a little nervous as we’ve had private tours that after a few hours got a little awkward, but we were lucky enough to have Lynn as our tour guide and she was fantastic! There was never a dull moment in our conversation and the entire 4 hours flew by and both my husband and I felt sad to part with Lynn! By the end of the tour she felt like an adopted aunt! She taught us so much about the history of Quebec and areas we were looking at, and we got to talk about everything from education in Quebec, to drivers licenses, to family, basically anything we were interested in/cam up naturally. She also took us to seriously the best restaurants! Each stop was properly timed and prepped ahead of time, she knew everyone at every restaurant and EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! While my husband and I are not picky eaters we are most definitely foodies and are very honest when it comes to food. I have never had such a gourmet and fabulous food tour experience before! My husband and I have been on food tours were we felt we far over paid for what we received, but the service (from Lynn, the kind young man over the phone that we met at the front office, to all of the servers at each restaurant) was absolutely superb! I cannot recommend this tour enough! If you are a foodie and are looking for some hidden gourmet gems around Quebec plus some great local history and knowledge look no further!
Best food, Drink and History tour in Quebec!
Deborah_S, Oct 2023
Marie is the perfect tour guide, with much historical knowledge about Quebec and the area. Very many interesting facts and antidotes of our tour of Resteraunt’s. She is very knowledgeable and has a Fun personality. We greatly enjoyed her leading us from one Resteraunt to another and all the food and drinks were delicious! From the salad, soup, fish course, meat course and desert. A very diverse range of food, and drink which was ALL delicious and we enjoyed even more due to Maries’ company! She was interested in all of us on the tour and how we were enjoying everything!❣️
Don’t Miss this Tour! Worth every penny!!
Susan_W, Oct 2023
Don’t miss this tour . It’s a must. Go hungry. You are going to experience 4 different restaurants and a 5 course meal with wine and beer. Food is really wonderful. Our guide Marie was very knowledgeable and the walking tour is quite nice. Alot of walking — and it’s hilly. We experienced NEW cuisine ie.,, foam cheese, a microbrewery with onion soup, gorgeous old original traditional French “made at the table” restaurant: and the Monestery which was incredibly peaceful and had the best food ever. Wonderful chef. The wine was OK. Very small portions — but good enough. I highly recommend.
A delicious stroll through Quebec City
Sharon_R, Oct 2023
I loved the combination of walking the streets of Quebec City with sampling delicious food at a variety of local restaurants, all while learning the history of Quebec City!
A great taste of Quebec!
Pamela_G, Oct 2023
Excellent food and a great overall tour from Anne. It was nice to try different restaurants, from new (a wonderful heirloom tomato salad) to classic (shrimp flambe at the Continental). Go hungry! We skipped both lunch (before) and dinner (after the tour) and were glad to do it! The small group (6 of us) was the perfect size for this tour. Thanks for a memorable experience.
