Our tour with Luis was the perfect way to see Quito’s highlights in a day. Everything went very smoothly, he was a wealth of information and he made sure we were secure and relaxed for the experience. The view from Teleforico was incredible and we were blessed with a very clear sky. There was a lot to see in the Old Town and I felt like Luis was great at pointing to important little details in the history that we would have missed on our own. The Inti-ñan museum was a nice way to end our day. Luis was great at answering our questions and really made for a special experience.

We booked this tour on-line and in advance as it covered the things we wanted to see in Quito in one convenient package. We were expecting a number of people on the tour, but it turned out that we were the only two, We found the meeting point at Plaza Foch about 12 minutes walk from our hotel (JW Marriott) and our guide and driver, Andrès found us. With only 2 passengers, we were in a comfortable sedan. We rode the cable car (remember, you pay your own entry fees in $US on top of the tour cost), swung on the highest swing in South America, walked through old town to see the historic buildings and try some chocolate, and then drove us out to the Mitad Del Mundo (Equator Centre) (which was great fun - again pay your own entrance fee). Andrès was great. Took our photos, etc. We were very happy with this tour.

Fabulous Day in Quito

Our day started by being met by our guide and driver, Michael. We were the only two on the tour. Michael started by taking us to the Middle of the World, an informative tour explaining the equator. Next we went to the cable car and Michael accompanied us explaining the history of the mountains and volcanoes. We enjoyed lunch in the old town followed by a guided walk of the old historic centre, viewing many churches and buildings of historical importance. At the end of the day, Michael delivered us back to our hotel. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Quito.

Ok first Freddy was the best guide: we had a group of 11 and everyone had time to hang out and learn from Freddy. Every stop on this tour was great . We felt safe and in good hands . Lots of walking. Even a stop for local food.ask lots of questions and learn about this great location. We really wish we could taste everything and see it all . We loved this tour

This was a glorified Uber. We could have taken an Uber to all of the locations for cheaper. None of the tickets or entrance fees were included so it made this literally a transportation service. The guide was nice and knowledgeable but even the old town tour, we were just taken to churches in which we had no interest in.

Perfect Day, Cable Car, Hike, Swings, Mitad Del Mundo, Lunch & Museum

Raul was an incredible tour guide, with great personality. We started with the cable car ride, then a hike up to the swings, then hiked back down. He allowed us to taylor our day and skip a couple of the monuments and spend more time at Mitad del Mundo and the incredible indigenous village tour. We stopped at a wonderful restaurant for lunch before continuing on to the museum. Raul made this a Perfect Day!! Plenty of time to enjoy what was most important to us. 👍

Carlos was very knowledgeable and gave us a good history of Ecuador, answering all our many questions. The tour covered exactly what was stated and was a great way to see Quito in a day. This was an excellent trip! Got a great overview of the city, the culture and the most visited tourist locations. Our guide William was extremely knowledgeable. He was very pleasant and we enjoyed all the sites and sounds of Quito.

Excellent Guide and Experience

We had a private tour guide, Luis, who was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable (about almost any topic you can think of), he was fluent in both English & Spanish, he made our experience that much more worth it that we booked a last minute tour the following day with him. We first headed to the cable car to take advantage of the weather, then we went to the actual middle of the world museum (very informative/insightful about the native people) and lastly, we took a city tour which gave meaning, value, and cultural appreciation to QUito. Luis was great at tending to our needs and adjusting the schedule to ensure we had a great time that was personalized to our needs/wants. Highly recommend Ecuador Best Tours.
