This was an authentic experience and our tour guide, Louis, made all the difference in the world. Would highly recommend!!!
Very nice and unique experience.

The tour of the tunnel was longer then expected (which is good). Guide (Luis, sorry if I misspelled) was very friendly and funny, but professional, and was quite informative about the cave/tunnel. The cave, by itself, is natural, very interesting and unique.
We enjoyed the tour very much.
What a fantastic experience, made...

What a fantastic experience, made complete by our guide.
We were just 4 on the tour and when we did see other groups in the cave our guide who's name escapes me, sorry waited for them to move on so we could experience this with as small a group as possible.
We were given the option of coming out the 'usual way' or the 'extreme route' this meant crawling on the floor but we gave it a go and it was managable not claustrophobic.
Fabulous colours and great icicles that had dripped through the lava.
There are other caves in Iceland that have been excavated with walkways, this was found 17yrs ago still untouched by machinery - the real deal.
Yes I would highly recommend booking with this company.
Tips -
You do have to crouch once or twice get on your knees but for short distances before standing again.
We were recommended to leave 'best jackets' in the tour bus as the lava can be sharp rip clothing, we chanced it due to the cold in January were fine, we warmed up crawling so it may not have been necessary.
Wear gloves for the sharp lava, even if not cold, you will end up putting your hands on the floor/ceiling.
