What To Expect

This Golden Circle day trip meets in Reykjavik, or if you requested pickup when booking, it’ll pick you up from the agreed-upon location in the city. Once in your vehicle, set off on Iceland’s Golden Circle circuit. A guide tells you about the ecosystem of the areas you visit during the day.

Your first stop, Kerid Crater, isn’t part of the regular Iceland Golden Circle adventures, but is well worth a stop. Enjoy a visit to the volcanic crater before moving on to see Strokkur geyser.

After Strokkur, stop at the stunning Gullfoss Falls and then head to Thingvellir National Park.

At the national park, learn about the park’s movement of its tectonic plates. Once your Iceland Golden Circle tour is over, it drops you back off in Reykjavik.

We enjoyed every part of this trip. Our 10 and 8 year old enjoyed it as much as the adults. Vik was a great tour guide, full of interesting tales and information. We learnt so much about Iceland. Highly recommend this tour! Super Mario was a great driver too.

Nice tour guide and great trip

Our tour guide was very knowledgable and professional. We learned a lot about Iceland along the way. This trip is lighter in terms of traveling time and activities. We did this trip on the day we landed and it was not too tiresome. It takes us to all the must-sees around the golden circle plus a few mini stops to see Icelandic horses and get homemade ice creams.

The classic tour for every visitor to Iceland. Guide Richie led a humorous and informative trip, imbued by his passion for this gorgeous country (as well as his passion for Icelandic music!). It wasn’t just a by-the-book tour, but time allowed for little treats and stops that gave a fuller taste. Richie gave lots of tips for better photos, as well as where some of the best shots were. The stunning scenery is not to be missed!
Be careful with changes without prior notice…

They changed the time for earlier and we didn’t get the chance to see their message since we as tourists didn’t have wifi all the day. Unfortunately we didn’t this day trip with them. We did rent a car and drove through same locations. It’s better in many levels…since we had our own time, food and clothes for the kids, bathroom and stop to nice views all over the drive. We are still waiting for the refund.

I’m not a very outdoorsy person, but this is an experience you’ll never get anywhere else. I was truly in awe of the things the earth gives to us. Even through the bus ride, I couldn’t read my book. There’s too much natural beauty to ignore. Not to mention, our tour guide was super funny.

Beggi and Steven were the perfect team, the drive was smooth and Beggi told us so much about the interesting history of Iceland inbetween stops. Just the right amount of time in each place to enjoy the sights and grab a drink, the weather wasn't the best to start with but Beggi never let it stop him and had a really great sense of humour. A brilliant trip and a great way to see everything Iceland has to offer in one (very long) day.

Beggi’s commentary was engaging, spirited and both incredibly informative and entertaining. This and W’s smooth driving made for a fantastic day where learning about the history and culture of Iceland made the sights all the more meaningful.

A geyser is simply surprising because it is very surprising when it erupts (Julia, age 7). The tour guide Dave and the bus driver (Arthur) each contributed in their own way to making the adventure unforgettable.

The tour guide, Asa, and the driver were both friendly and accommodating. Asa was also very informative and very helpful in taking our photos, giving us insights and tips on which area to go to so that it wouldn’t be too crowded.

A great tour, a lovely day out! We had no problem with being picked up at the bus stop, but make sure to give yourself enough time as it can be very confusing once you are there to work out which bus you have to go on. The coach was comfortable and we had plenty of leg room. Temperature was also comfortable. We saw lots of sights and also had plenty of toilet breaks so we were always comfortable.
