A complete Round Trip to Rome lasts about 2,5 hrs 8 stops are available, however, you can join this service within the validity of your ticket (24,48,72 hrs). For the Vatican Museum Tour customers have a mandatory meeting time stated 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time due to managing and organizational reasons. Late arrivals cannot join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
To get inside Vatican Museum, we use a group ticket. You cannot ask individual tickets only to enter.
A dress code is required to enter places of worship and Vatican Museum. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
Children must be accompanied by an adult
You must have a valid photo ID (student's ID, Driver License, Passport or State ID all work.) You will be asked to also provide your name, last name and date of birth (at the beginning of the tour, if not provided beforehand.) Security will prevent you from entering the site if the information provided is not accurate and/or don't match the one on your ID.
Child discount is applied only with a valid ID card
Please note that security check at the entrance cannot be skipped. This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.This could also influence the smooth running of the tour especially on national holidays and events.
The activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational resons

This tour will not operate on religious holidays
Cancellations, changes or issues due to weather, security and events held by the monument are beyond our control and are directly decided by their administration team. These issues will be reviewed by us and dealt with on an individual basis but are the responsibility of the monument.
Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour.
For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened. To facilitate the security checks please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray
No change on a booking can be accepted after 24hrs to the starting time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
For the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Pets are not allowed
STARTING TIME FOR THE GUIDED TOURS OF THE VATICAN MUSEUM/SISTINE CHAPEL WILL BE COMMUNICATED ONCE BOOKED THE TOUR. The Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel tour will be in English only.
The Itinerary of the open bus can change depending on strikes or for other events.
Every refund request MUST be done within and not later than 48 hours from the day of the tour
Not recommended for travelers with motor difficulties and walker users

Hop on hop off bus took...

Hop on hop off bus took to long at each stop because the checking of tickets and issue of tickets was manual and took very long per passenger Nearly missed our Vatican time slot because of bus not leaving on time

Not good

Only one of three routes open because of a national military celebration which would have been knowable information but was not shared. Getting in was chaotic as there was no clear ticketing system and it took several minutes for each person boarding to show a ticket yet no visible pass was given so their process was repeated each time. We were only able to get on twice because of the confusion with ticketing and no routes. Did not see one place of interest on the route as it didn’t go anywhere near any famous places of interest. I would use the red hop on hop off bus instead.

The Vatican museum tour was great But the green line tour bus is not recommended . Frequency is not good. Many seats are not working.

Don't get off you'll wait forever for the next bus.

Alisa was an amazing tour guide. We felt a little rushed through the first couple of museum galleries. Raphael and Sistine chapel were amazing. Hop on hop off a joke. Waited for almost an hour for bus then sent across Termini station to cath a different bus. Almost late for our appointment for Vatican tour because of it.

Stay away, terrible tour and terrible bus

Awful. Stay away. Bus is terrible, always full and consistently late. So late it made me miss my vatican tour. I then booked one for that same day on the afternoon and it was awful. The tour guide was really boring and I just wanted the tour to be over quickly. Sistine chapel was amazing of course.
