The walking tour was great. Our guide was very informative and funny. Explained history of the area. Would strongly recommend it. Weather was also great and made it comfortable to walk around. Wear good walking shoes.

My family really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Gaetano, did an excellent job narrating historical fact interspersed with mythology as well as socio-political opinion. My two young children preferred this to the daytime Ancient Rome tour we had done two days prior because it was more casual and conversational due to the smaller group size and the fact that it was in the evening made it more of an adventure. Great experience overall.

Our app back in time was wonderfull. We had two guide with us (one in training who was observing) and ourselves. This went from semi private to private and the evening was thoroughly enjoyable. The history conveyed and the stories explained brought to life what we were seeing.

Rome is beautiful to explore and experience by day or night. Wonderful small group walking tour. The only negative and need for improvement was that the meeting point instructions were vague and not helpful causing a delay in the start and a few minutes of stress.

We meet in front of Saint Mark's Basilica, the only place in the square with the precise address. The address is in the voucher and on top of that, it was emailed to you in the reminder in the morning of the tour. We email and send SMS messages to all participants, in the morning of the tour with the exact address, name and phone number of the guide. Louise was attentive in her detailing of historic structures and figures. I got a nice clarification of where Ceasar was actually murdered (not at the senate contrary to popular Television)… She’s a well knowledge guide with interesting back stories that makes the walk real fascinating… even recommended a nice pizza place on our walk. Had a pleasant experience !

Great way to see parts of the city by night

This was such a lovely tour of Rome by night, our tour guide Louise was lovely and really knowledgable of the local area and all the parts we went to visit. She didn't just take us for the tour but got to know all of us on route which was nice as I didn't feel I was just a number in the group. The group size was small so ideal for a leisurely stroll and to look at all the places she took us. We visited some areas which I had simply walked past in the day but didn't pay much attention to them but others gave me more details on them, which I didn't learn perviously during the day on another tour e.g. palatine hill which was a nice addition. We took our time throughout the evening and she made sure she answered all our questions and we had took all the photos we needed before asking to move onto the next place, which was nice and thoughtful. We finished off by the Colosseum which was nice way to finish the evening, where Louise then provided directions to where we needed to go and food if we were hungry. At first I couldn't make my original date and time due to the local traffic being a nightmare on Friday evenings so plan accordingly but Dmitri was so helpful and after me texting to say I was going to be late, he kindly asked me if I wanted to rearrange for the following evening which I didn't expect and therefore just needing to pay for an admin charge (payable to the guide on the night) so I was extreme;y grateful for that :) Tour is definitely one to go on if you have time and want to see the city by night
