Children aged 7-18 are entitled to a reduced entry fee (see tour and ticket pricing) and must provide proof of age.

A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
At least 4 people are required for the guided tour option to take place.
Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked start time. Tickets are time sensitive and we cannot accomodate late arrivals.
Entrance into St. Peter's Basilica is separate from the Vatican Museums and is not always available. When available, you will be given the option to benefit from Skip the Line Access to St. Peter's Basilica at no extra cost. Entrance to the Basilica is free and does not require a ticket.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Amazing art but too many people to enjoy. It is not the fault of the tour guides or company, but the museum allows too many people in at once to enjoy the art. Tour guide tried hard but there was not much she could do.

Don’t be late

We got stuck in traffic and communicated we would be late. They only had enough tickets for two people of the three people in our group to join later. I was okay with that but they instead just sent the tickets for us to go by ourselves. They did not offer to let us catch up, and when I talked to one of the tour leaders he waived us off. We missed out on being able to se St. Peter’s Basilica because we were 15 minutes late. I understand that the tour had to start, but they could have told us where to meet them to catch up. In the future I will use a different, more compassionate provider.

As clearly stated on your voucher and reiterated in a message via Viator, your tour was scheduled for 14:30 PM, with a requirement to be at the meeting point by 14:15 PM, so 15 minutes before your tour starts. Nevertheless, your message on WhatsApp indicating arrival by 2:41 PM was unfortunately tardy, as the timing of our tours is meticulously managed due to ticket constraints. Consequently, we provided your tickets via WhatsApp to allow you to proceed with exploring the Museums independently, as we cannot delay for individual late arrivals, to the detriment of others in the group. Moreover, your arrival at 14:52 PM but not at 14:41 PM meant that it would have surpassed even the window for utilizing the skip-the-line tickets. So you were 22 minutes late but not 15. The meeting point was clearly delineated on your voucher and communicated comprehensively through Viator a day prior to your scheduled tour. Additionally, the tickets were issued and then sent for the correct number of adults as per your booking (3 adults), underscoring the importance of meticulous verification. Lastly, while access to the Basilica is offered as an additional benefit when possible, it is imperative to underscore that your payment primarily covered the guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The Basilica Access is just an additional priority but only when available and only for the guided tours. We appreciate your understanding of these logistical constraints and hope for better adherence to timing for future engagements. Sincerely, EcoArt Team
