We were fortunate to have Brian one on one since the tour was very small and some people did not come. He was very knowledgeable and very passionate about the truth and what happened in the Jewish ghetto. I love the history of Travestere as well.

Fantastic Walking Tour

Sarah was our outstanding guide. We are very knowledgable about Italian history and she never failed to tell us something new and different. But one of her talents is as a story teller so she was able to convey the information in an exciting and thrilling manner which kept our 12 and 15 year old grandsons enthralled in her stories. They loved seeing where Julius Cesar was murdered and finding out that it is now a city established cat sanctuary! Everything step of the way was just magical.

This was one of our favorite tours we did during out time in Italy. Our guide, Antonina, was so knowledgable and made the history of these places come to life. We had our two children with us, and she was so sweet to them and explained things in a way that they would understand. After the tour I definitely recommend going back to Jewish ghetto to try the restaurant and bakery that the tour guide recommends (and make sure to try the Jewish-style artichoke!)
