What To Expect
Your Salem walking tour starts at the Old Town Hall, a convenient meeting point in the center of town. Led by a historian guide, you’ll traverse 400 tumultuous years of Salem's past, saving yourself the effort of personal research.
As you wander between stops, the guide helps you unravel the layers of the 1692 Witch Trials Hysteria. You’ll also encounter modern-day witches, and hear chilling tales of Salem's history that you’d likely miss otherwise.
The route of the tour follows the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall, once a Native American trading path, leading to the site of the First Church of Salem. Stroll to one of the city's most snapped locations, the Bewitched Statue of Elizabeth Montgomery, and then conclude your journey at the Salem Witch Trials Memorial.

Ryan was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic. I visited Salem with my fiancé and a friend, and all of us agreed that this tour was one of our favorite things we did while we were there! Ryan was not only knowledgeable about Salem history, but also made the experience fun. I learned more from him than I did visiting several museums. Thank you Ryan for a fabulous tour!!

My prior knowledge of Salem was limited to the witch trials but I loved learning about Salem’s proud maritime history with Dawn. Dawn is a very friendly and very thorough tour guide. She makes sure we got ample time at every stop on the tour to take photos. I also appreciated that for every spot she took us to, she didn’t just tell us historical facts but also always had a cool, spooky story that made it all the more interesting.

I feel it would have been a great tour , however I was left and got in with another group walking by , if you book the tour , I’d suggest a small flash light and make sure you are close to the tour leader , since they will leave you . I was very disappointed and was really looking forward to this tour
