Good small group tour

Overall, it was interesting. One of the Mayan sites used their on-site tour guide to bring depth to the tour. Bringing out interesting facts and pictures not part of a regular tour. The other site was a series of buildings with models, pictures and artifacts. Some juicy parts are off limits and underground. Lunch was a bust and we missed the final leg's tour around the mountain to view the crater lake and large volcano. Lunch took too long and was on the opposite side of the crater lake from the park.
Worth the trip! Incredible sites.

It was hard to choose because EC tours the company that does these tours have so many good ones! But this Maya trip tour is incredible! ALEX did a great job showing me and explaining me details for what I was seeing and took incredible photos and videos of me with these historic sites. What a memorable day. If you are thinking of visiting these sites don’t think twice they are truly worth it. In person it’s something extraordinary. Also ALEX drives very safe and I never felt in danger when going through the highways. Thanks ALEX for such a great tour. 5 stars! Highly recommend.

Booked this tour last minute and I’m so glad I did. The day was long but it went smoothly for all the stops we made. Our tour guide Wendy and our driver were incredibly kind. They were both very professional and great to talk to. She was knowledgeable about the sites and history of each of these places we visited. We left very well informed and would definitely recommend any these tours if you want to see different regions in one day.

Great day tour with diversified and customized plan. Dave is the best guide I have ever met. He brought me a lot of fun and great views. And also we had chance to try different local food. I booked this tour for my mom, who was visiting me in El Sal and only speaks English. She had the best time! Her guide was Melissa, who was very friendly, informative, and fun. EC Tours also worked with us to adapt the tour to my mom’s need and preferences. Highly recommend!

Not a great tour. My guide Alex tried skipping one of the 3 stops altogether. While I booked this quite a time in advance, Alex spoke little English and the student that was with him: it was her 2nd day on the job and explained a little. During our short hike at Cerro Verde, we had to stop and wait several times while Alex was on his phone.

The very well explained tour gave us the history and local perspective that we would miss if we had not booked a tour. Melissa was amazing! Funny, knowledgeable and super personable. Our only complaint is that what we booked was described to us as a private tour, yet we were picked up One hour and a half late and had a group of 9 which made it very uncomfortable on the extended seat on the van. Other than that, the experience was worth it.

The tour was very exciting, got to see some of the best sites El Salvidor had to offer. The tour guide was very nice, spoke both English and Spanish and was very knowledgeable about the deep history of El Salvidor. Would definetly get another tour from them again.

I truly enjoyed this tour. It exceeded my expectations and it really allowed me to see the beauty of El Salvador. Osmaro, my guide, was great! Attentive and very well versed on the history of the sites I saw. An amazing experience.

As it turned out, I had a private tour with Rene! He was very polite, prompt, friendly, a careful driver, flexible, and easy to talk to (both responsive and having great English). He went out of his way to obtain food items (some fruits and pastries) that he recommended to me and I wanted to try! I very much enjoyed the day. We visited 2 Mayan sites (each had small museums in addition to walking through the ruins), walked a little through the forest in Cerre Verde park on the mountaintop, stopped for photos at various beautiful locations along the road, and ate lunch on Lake Coatepeque (very beautiful and relaxing, even got some live music here since it was the weekend!).

Tazumal es un sitio muy impresionante así como llegar a la cima del parque Cerro verde y observar la perfecta forma del volcán Izalco hacer la caminata hasta donde puedes observar el volcán Santa Ana No sin antes almorzar en el Lago Coatepeque con una vista única, impresionante agradable y magnífica.
