Excellent tour of Santorini

Fabulous Santorini- entire island in one

Memorable day in beautiful Santorini!

My family and I had a wonderful time with Vasilis on this private tour in Santorini. I was very worried about the long line for the cable car up from our cruise ship, but luckily we were able to get on the first tender off the ship and 45 minutes later, we were starting our tour with Santorini-native Vasilis, who was patient with us every step of the way. Vasilis worked with us to plan the perfect itinerary and there was so much to do and see, we couldn’t even finish it all! He was also very good with my father, who has trouble walking. As the cherry on top, when we thought the tour was over, he instead drove us to one of the highest points on the island, where we got one last look at the fantastic views from above! All in all, we had a wonderful day in Santorini and would highly recommend this tour. Hopefully you will be able to get Vasilis as your guide!

Such an amazing time!!!! Paniagota was so caring, passionate and prepared to give us the perfect time in Santorini. We lost time in the process to get out of the cruise ship and get to the top of the island where Paniagota was waiting for us, they even gave us more time because of all the time we had lost to get there. You won’t regret it even more so if you are coming in a cruise ship and don’t like to be with 200 people trying to get the best of the island in a little time. Great tour

Dimitrios was an amazing guide and so informative and entertaining! He took us to all of the highlights of Santorini and found the best spots to take photos...he was a great photographer as well, always taking lots to make sure we got "the shot" we wanted. He took us to an incredible spot for lunch and a fabulous winery. Can't wait to go back to Santorini and spend more time! Having a car and driver all to ourselves all day was the best decision we made!

Good way to end the week

This was a pretty laid back way to enjoy the island without being surrounded by a group of strangers. We had planned for this to be our last activity on our honeymoon, so that anything we saw throughout the week that we wanted to do, we could include in this tour. They were very accommodating and while we didn’t get to go EVERYWHERE we wanted, we ended up seeing some arguably better stuff that we probably wouldn’t have seen on our own. In addition to the planned itinerary, we were also able to see the ancient akrotiri excavation as well as the archaeology museum in Fira.

Awesome tour w/a fabulous tour guide

Our guide, Demetrious, made the trip so enjoyable. He went out of his way to make sure we had the tour of a lifetime & he treated us like royalty! He stopped at all the significant sites & took over 400 pictures (yes, we counted) of us so we could have great memories to look back at & share w/others once back home. We highly recommend Demetrious as a tour guide & we count ourselves so lucky to have gotten him!

We enjoyed the private tour of Santorini by Dmitrios. He was friendly, professional and quite knowledgeable about the history, geology, and important landmarks. He was very attentive to our comfort, schedule and priorities. Dmitrios also called the restaurant ahead to ensure we had a beautiful beachside table for our lunch. He tried very hard to ensure we saw all of the highlights of interest to us and more! Oia, view of the island from the monastery, red and black sand beaches, overview of the Santorini Caldera and some of the best photo spots. He was also helpful in capturing this group’s family photos! He’s an amazing guide and will definitely recommend him to others! This was a perfect tour if you want to see all the beautiful places that Santorini has to offer and learn about Greece. Our tour guide was excellent. He picked us up at the airport. Our flight was a little late but he waited patiently. We had a spot that we really wanted to stop at that had some great baklava and he made a quick detour so we could indulge. I've been to Santorini before but this tour was so much better than the big tour bus that I was on before. It was intimate, personal, and I learned so much more about Santorini. And I went to some new spots that I hadn't seen before like the underground caves. This was a perfect start to an incredible trip to Santorini!! Highly Recommend.

Only problem was getting off the Ship, on the line for the Cable car and then the return down the steps and the wait again for the ship tender. Santorini is very beautiful and was great to see thru our guide Georges eyes. He took us to beautiful sites.

Great overview of Santorini

Excellent way to see a lot of the island easily… sure beat being in a huge crowd on a big tour bus! Definitely prefer the private tour option in a place as crowded as Santorini. We were concerned about being late to meet our guide at the top of the tram but he was patiently waiting for us. We may have slightly misunderstood all that was included on our tour… thought we would have time to swim at black sand beach and eat lunch but guide had to return us to do another tour. We were with him from 8:45-2:45 or so. He was kind enough to help us get into a local place for lunch after he dropped us off.

Exceptional tour

Our tour started late due to long lines for the cable car but Michael was there waiting for us with a new Mercedes van. :-). Michael took us to see the blue dome, monastery at the highest point where the view was magnificent. He explained the history and answered all our questions. He had to juggle the schedule to ensure we made it back in time to catch the cable car back to our cruise ship. He is the BEST tour guide we’ve ever had. Thanks Michael.

Wonderful time in Santorini

This was an awesome tour. Our driver and guide was Demetrius and he was one of the friendliest guy we have toured with. He will always make sure you are good and will give you enough time at whatever stop you want. We got to see lots of the island and hot spots. The black sand beaches was awesome and my kids had a great time. Along the way Demetrius told us history about the island and sites we visited. We took great pictures in some of the hotspots and ended with a phenomenal sunset. You can’t go wrong with this tour and if Demetrius is your guide you will have a great time.
