Response from Host, Apr 2024
Hello! Sorry the Factory Tour wasn't what you had hoped. Just a heads up that Boeing doesn't see these reviews on our page - just a reminder that we are the local operator who provides the guided transport to and from the Future of Flight Center, but the factory tour is provided by Boeing staff. You will need to reach out to them to give your feedback regarding the factory tour experience. We hope that our services were more satisfactory, and we would be happy to follow up with you about Show Me Seattle and our part of the excursion if you want to email us at info@showmeseattle.com. Regards, Show Me Seattle
How do you know this was not canceled?
Michael_D, Jun 2020
This was canceled. I would have thought this was conveyed throughout your company. I am surprised you do not know that???? How does that happen?
Response from Host, Jun 2020
Hi Michael - I'm so sorry this happened to you. We do know that the Boeing Future of Flight Center has been closed for tours since mid-March, and has yet to announce a reopening date. If you had a tour with us for the factory, and we did not respond to you in a timely manner about the cancelation, we deeply apologize. Please provide your booking reference number as we would like to follow up and see what happened. Best, Show Me Seattle Tours

One of the things that must go for, really interesting to know all this details and to see it in front of you, the minibus that drive us to the factory is 10 out of 10! Had great acknowledge about the tour and so on the factory guide! about the price is fair and it shouldn’t be more than that, so it’s excellent!
Boeing Tour - great experience
Jasmine_C, Jan 2020
Our guide and driver, Mr David Caroll or known as DC, has got to be one of the most comprehensive guides around. I appreciated that he took time to share, explain about the place and even threw in bits and pieces of fun facts about Seattle. The Boeing tour was amazing and I felt that I've gained a slightly more insight into the aviation industry. One of the coolest tours I've ever been in Seattle!
uplifting
rjcmarmstrong, Jan 2020
the tour was conducted by a knowledgeable guide who informed us about Seattle, history and aviation. He knew lots about the boeing factory and the tour as well as some lesser known parts of the facility. The tour of the factory was amazing and it gave a better understanding of the manufacturing process.

Amazing Tour

We enjoyed our trip to the Boeing factory. It was really an eye opener. We would also like to thank our driver James, who was so passionate about aviation. He gave us a lot of information on the way driving us to the factory. He had also checked the of the planes take off schedule before hand, so that he could advise us what was the best time to go up to the rooftop of the destination building to view it. Thanks a lot, James!
Unique Experience
CyrusDali_V, Nov 2019
The tour was well organized and the guides from Boeing were well informed and ready to answer questions. It was a great experience to see first hand how the planes we have flown on are assembled and produced. A must see for tourists who visit Seattle!!
Elvis has left Boeing.
Craig M, Nov 2019
Great tour but the guide/bus driver Elvis made the day great, lots of stories of Seattle and Boeing on the way up to Boeing and on the way back question time, asked any question you wanted about Seattle was great, lots of sporting knowledge of the City. The Boeing tour itself was interesting, its more about the building than anything, very impressive, good gift shop at the end.
Great transport with entertaining host, but museum and factory tour fell a little bit short of what they could be
Scott_K, Nov 2019
For the tour as a whole, I have mixed feelings. The host on the bus trip to the Boeing museum and factory, Lucky, was great. Thoroughly entertaining and has an incredible numbers of stories to tell; if only for the lack of time on the trip. Overall, I found the museum itself quite ordinary. A good deal of history on some of the planes, but felt like a rather haphazard collection of items scattered across the museum. The highlights of the museum were that it was the staging point for the factory tour and seeing a couple of Boeing Dreamlifter planes land on on the ground being opened up. The factory tour is generally quite amazing. Just the sheer size of the building must leave one in some degree of awe. Unfortunately the tour itself does become a bit of a factory process itself as everyone is shuffled from one viewing platform to the next; and the information and displays that have been set up simply need to be ignored in order to keep up with one's own group. And as you have to remain with your group, there's no going back to read that information or see the displays afterwards.
Response from Host, Nov 2019
Hi Saker77 -- so glad you loved the transportation and your guide Lucky provided by us, Show Me Seattle Tours! Unfortunately we cannot affect the experience at the museum - we recommend you reach out to the Boeing Future of Flight page with your feedback as they won't see it here on our page :-) Best, Show Me Seattle Tours

I had "Taxi Elvis" as guide for the trip, he made SUCH a difference because of his interesting narrating. And the Boeing tour itself was also amazing. Highly recommended.

Dave did a excellent job very knowledgeable about Seattle was very funny and did whatever was necessary to accommodate passengers on the bus. Five stars for him!
Great tour
Anne_B, Oct 2019
Great fun with Spencer, our guide. Informatiave ride to and from the factory, nice time at museum, tour is done by Boeing emplooyees, not Show me Seattle guides, it was good. I do wish we had not gone on a weekend so the workforcee would have been there, but still a fascinating tour.
Very interesting but altogether a bit disappointing
Susan_B, Oct 2019
Expected more of this excursion. The tour guide had obviously done the tour so many times before it was all a little flat. Too many people on each section of the tour which made hearing what the tour guide had to say difficult at times. All seemed a little rushed too. Expected more. Expected to SEE more of the intricacies of how each plane is made rather than just hear about certain aspects from the tour guide. Very much felt as though we were in a sausage factory with millions of others and that Boeing viewed the exercise as a money making enterprise....which it definitely was!
Response from Host, Oct 2019
Hi belfords - so sorry your tour of the Boeing factory did not meet expectations :-( Unfortunately we are not able to affect the experience in the assembly plant, only the guided transportation we provide from Seattle. You may want to check the Help section in TripAdvisor for instructions on how to move this review to the Boeing Future of Flight page so they get your feedback. We hope that you enjoyed our service, though, and your driver/guide from Show Me Seattle. Best, Leslie Law Show Me Seattle Tours
The Big 'B'
Peter P, Sep 2019
The tour started a little bumpy as we were expecting to be picked up by a Show me Seattle bus but this wasn't the case but after the Driver/ tour guide realized it was us he was waiting for we were on our way. Our bus driver/ tour guide Dave I think known as Elvis was full of a lot of local knowledge and kept us entertained on our journey to and from Boeing and going the extra mile to make it an unforgettable experience. The Boeing Tour was a great experience sadly seemed a little rushed but I know you wouldn't see anymore than what we did as its not a high speed production line. The guides again were very informative and the scale of the place is amazing if you are a aviation geek its a must.
Elvis is in the building
Russ_H, Sep 2019
Elvis (aka Dave) was an awesome host. Lots of info and ask a question he knows the answer.....with a story too!!! Love his stories and tales!!!! Plus the Boeing tour was superb!!!! What an amazing place. Just do it.
Boeing tour
George_C, Sep 2019
The tour presented interesting information about airplane manufacturing. It was great to see the work up close in an active production facility. Wished we had a different tour guide. Ours was overly dramatic about everything and he sounded like he was recording an audio book about a mystery thriller. For example on something as simple as giving direction, like “Walk into the elevator”, the drama in his voice sounded as if we were being ushered into an exotic manor house. It would have been great if he was reading a children’s book to a group of kids, but not to a group of adults who wanted to see/learn about how aircraft are built. The cafe was great and offered quality options for good prices.
