Great but challenging

Jenny was a great tour guide and the tour was super interesting! However the tour is also physically challenging (especially the tunnel) and may be difficult for people with walking or breathing problems. I enjoyed myself immensely and can absolutely recommend the tour!

What an interesting learning experience. Our guide Gabby was very knowledgeable, sweet, funny and charming. She made the tour very fun despite the seriousness. The DMZ tour is a must if you visit South Korea. Possibly my favorite experience of my visit to South Korea.

Gabby is an amazing and experienced tour guide. Her explanations are simple to understand and very informative. You have to be very fit to do the 3rd tunnel because the climb back up is just so steep!

We attended and it was a living history of the Korean War right in front of us. The tour really brings home the struggles of Korea and it's people as a result of the war separating families and nation.

This is the most disappointing tour ever with viator. First I booked with gondola and they didn’t let me go. The tour guide get the group in one corner explain everything and you go by yourself to see the sites but too much explanation when you get to the specific site you already forgot everything. The rest of the groups visit every spot with their guider. She was rude.

In general, the whole tour was fantastic, but in particular, the 3rd tunnel experience inside the DMZ was an experience to remember. Our host Crystal from VIP Tours Seoul needs to be commended for articulating the history of Korea pre and post DMZ in such an interesting and factual manner. A tour highly recommended, not only for the history buffs, but for anyone whom wish to know a bit more about N-Korea and S-Korea.

This was a great tour in terms of all we saw, did and the knowledge of our guide Jenny. The group has to be well managed to ensure its kept together to go through all the time and rule restraints. It was a shame that the JSA was closed, but all of the other parts were up to par. Came in knowing very little about the history, so learned quite a bit. Lina was a helpful and funny tour guide! I might’ve done the gondola one instead in hindsight since the suspension bridge was more of just a nature viewing thing outside of the DMZ.

Avoid this tour!

Trip was delayed due to missing participants. Bus has to pick-up last minute participants just to fill-up the bus. Gondola was not working so spent most of the time sitting in a coffee shop. Tour lead was not considerate if the customers are understanding what she is saying. She keeps on walking while talking, not mindful that others can not catch-up with her on uphill climbs. She does not entertain questions. Looks like there is a script that she has to follow. I will not recommend this - not only to individuals who have issues on uphill climbs, but to anyone at all.
