What To Expect
Meet your friendly local guide at your Seoul hotel and travel by comfortable coach through the capital city streets. Pay a visit to Jogyesa Temple, which is widely recognized as the top Buddhist temple in the nation. Once you’ve wandered the grounds head past the Blue House (Cheongwadae), where the current president resides.
Your knowledgeable guide then takes you to Gyeongbokgung Palace, where the royal family lived during the Joseon Dynasty. Learn how this 14th-century structure was built and gain a deeper understanding of its iconic status as you wander the grounds learning about its architecture and traditions. While at Gyeongbokgung Palace, visit the National Folk Museum and learn about the history and culture of Korean residents. Galleries include information about traditional farming, hunting, royalty, and aristocracy.
Next, venture to a traditional ginseng center, where you learn about this medicinal staple. Enjoy a traditional Korean lunch in Insadong and relax while you tuck into a bowl of bibimbap (rice, vegetables and meat). Spend some time at your leisure wandering the shops and town streets before making your way to the North Seoul Tower.
Stationed atop Mt. Namsan, this incredible city landmark offers up stunning views from its towering observation deck. Once you’ve snapped some photos, head to Namsangol Hanok Village, where your guide takes you through the model village streets that offer a look at the Joseon Dynasty life. Check out various housing styles and incredible gardens as your guide points out key features and shares a bit of Korean history.

O no A guide was disorganized and poor communication skill with tourists
It seemed that we spent more time to wait in line then the touring
I was very disappointed
The resturant was small for the group to enjoy the mealn

Charles was awesome. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and made sure I was ok when my physical limitations kept me from participating in some activities. I was more than fine to sit some things out but I could tell Charles felt bad that I could not participate in some things. He's a great guide. Overall, the tour ha e a great overview of some important sites so would definitely recommend to a first time visitor.

Seeing the beautiful palace, understanding their culture and history, seeing the people’s excitement and cultural immersion. Seeing the old houses and understanding how they do their daily activities in the old time. I hope I had more time to stay in the place. Unfortunately not.

First off, whatever the guide Katie is being paid, it should be doubled! She had the impossible task of guiding 40+ guests through some of the most crowded Seoul attractions, and accounting for everyone and keeping us on schedule, so in short she was a great guide!
However, this tour is way too large, and attempts to squeeze too much into a single day. If you have a limited amount of time in Seoul (which some of the guests mentioned they did), then maybe I'd recommend this tour, but if you're at all able to visit the sites at your own pace, then I recommend it. My only recommendation to the tour operator is the number of guests is WAY to large, and the visit to the ginseng sales pitch museum is totally unnecessary. There was way too much to see, to squeeze in a museum of $200 (USD) ginseng products.

The trip started on not a good note as the driver picking us up from our hotel was extremely rude and despite telling him that we are in the lift and reaching in 2 mins he left and kept shouting over the phone, he was extremely disrespectful and arrogant. However our guide Karrie was nice and ensured each one in the group gets good pictures with illustrations of the history.

The tour included hotel pick up and drop off which was convenient to us as we just arrived at Seoul overnight. The tour guide, BK, was knowledgeable about the history of Korea, and friendly with excellent spoken English. His enthusiasm should be commended. We had a great time visiting a few city historical and tourist sites within a few hours which we could not have done it without this tour.
