Fantastic views but a long bus ride home

I enjoyed all of the sights we saw but really enjoyed Batu Caves despite the climb to get there. Putri did a fantastic job providing the history of each spot, providing sufficient time, and keeping our small group moving and on time. Some things that would have been good to know in advance since there was plenty of communication is that you need to fill out the Malaysia digital arrival card (MDAC) in advance. Also ladies need to have something that will cover their knees to climb up to Batu Caves. I was able to buy a cheap wrap at the base of the stairs.

My family and I had a great time visiting Kuala Lumpur from Singapore. I recommend this tour to anyone interested in a one long day visit to Kuala Lumpur while staying in Singapore. Please note that you spend approximately 4 hours on the bus each way, and then during the day we had a small-group tour in a minivan (which was pretty tight for seven adult tourists, plus the guide and the driver). The guide was very informative and showed us many interesting places in Kuala Lumpur. The only disadvantage was hopping off and on the minivan, and sitting tightly packed with relatively small windows. Not very convenient to take photos from the minivan.

Good trip but horrible bathrooms!

Bus trip from KL to Singapore was horrific! Bathroom stops were either port-a-pottys with no seats and no sinks or completely filthy restrooms with no toilet paper and no towels or hand dryers.

Dear valued guest, unfortunately on the way back to Singapore, there was a senior guest onboard who suddenly needed to use the bathroom urgently. Hence, your bus had to make an unscheduled stop at the nearest bathroom (which happened to be a portable toilet/porta potty). As explained by your guide, all other guests were requested to wait till the next scheduled bathroom stop with western-style bathrooms. Finally, we thank you for your positive feedback about the actual sightseeing, and we have forwarded your compliments to your guide.

The overall impact of the tour was good but there was no enough time to visit every attraction, some visits were missed as per the itenerary, the guide was good but needded more experience. The bus was noisy and not comfortable.

It was the best experience ever. Our guide, Dian, was wonderful and amazing. I highly recommend this tour! You stop at all of the top landmarks and even some along the way. And if you get her as your guide you are even luckier!

the idea was good but execution was bad. I went with my wife and my mom who are from Colombia, so before that i had a long chat with viator regarding visa requirements and they told me that all we needed were passports with at least six months left on the expiration. Once we got to the border, they were not allowed into Malasya, so we had to ways 5 hours to catch a bus back AND we did not get a refund, so it was a BAD experience.

Dear guest, USA passport holders only require a valid passport to visit Malaysia (no visa required). However, as advised in Viator's tour descriptions: "Guests from Colombia: Please seek prior travel authorization from your nearest Malaysian embassy". Unfortunately, some Colombian guests in your group, against Viator's advice, did not obtain travel authorization before departure. Hence, those Colombian guests in your group were turned back to Singapore at the Malaysian border.

Here are few things to consider and Viator might want to update. Singapore to Malaysia-It's a local bus not a First Class Bus. There were locals on the bus that were not part of the tour. There is no food and drinks offered. On the way back from Malaysia to Singapore is the First Class Bus. Again, the bus was shared with other locals. It's not the newest bus. I think 10 years old. The bus did serve lunch and coffee/tea which was decent. The breakfast in Malaysia is great. It's not included on the packet. You will have to pay extra for the breakfast. It was a blend of Malaysian, Singaporean, and Indian food and drinks. We were given 15 to 30 minutes to explore the areas. The experience in Malaysia would have been great if we weren't rush. I would suggest at least 45-60 mins needed to really enjoy Malaysia.

Great way to spend one day in Malaysia

This tour was a long day but I believe it was worth it. We got to see all the main sights in one day and everything was all planned out for us. Our tour guide Aulia was the best. She was very sweet and friendly and really made us feel comfortable on the tour. My favourite part of the tour was probably the Batu caves and then the Petronas twin towers.

This was such a lovely day tour and worth every penny. Our guide was Dian, and she was exceptional -- very kind, accommodating, personable, and committed to making the experience a great one. Obviously this is a long day, and you should be prepared for that --- but you get to see virtually everything Kuala Lumpur has to offer, which is priceless. There is some occasional built-in 'downtime,' which actually worked out well given how busy the day is otherwise and we were glad to have the opportunity to decompress, rest, catch up on email/phone calls/texts, etc. If you are short on time and want to see KL in a day, don't hesitate to do this! Dian educated us on the historical significance of everything along the way, which was much-appreciated. All-in-all, we were thrilled with this and would do it again! My only pro-tip is to consider somehow getting local Malaysian currency in advance of the experience if you wish to do so. Some of the stores and gift/souvenir shops only take local currency (though many take credit cards), but you arrive in Kuala Lumpur earlier than the currency exchangers open so you won't be able to exchange currency for things early in the day at least. This wasn't a big deal for us as enough places took credit cards so we didn't feel that we missed anything -- but just something to consider!
