Our tour was excellent, Raffaele was a great guide, giving us lots of information about the local area. We did the additional boat tour from Amalfi which was well worth it, and I would definitely recommend this tour.

Disappointing

The towns of the Amalfi Coast are well worth visiting. The views were stunning. However, our driver made the trip unenjoyable. His driving was reckless and I often felt unsafe. He spent much time texting on his phone rather than paying attention to the road. He constantly sped up and then slammed on his breaks nearly hitting other vehicles. At the end of our trip he nearly hit another bus head on in front of our hotel. Our tour was supposed to be 8 hours, but we were back in 6. It felt like he was rushing all day so he could get done early for another appointment.

A tremendous drive through the Amalfi coast by way of a well experienced driver and guide

The drive through the Amalfi coast was one in a lifetime experience. Though similar to the Pacific 1 coast drive from San Luis Obispo to the Monterey peninsula in California, the elevation of the road in the Amalfi coast was much higher and the road was narrower. And the numerous cars parked on the highway made the road much narrower. Micheale, our guide and driver did a tremendous job navigating the route while giving historical commentaries about the area.

Beautiful Amalfi coastline experienced.

The Amalfi coast. Driver parked said town is to your right. See you in 1 hr. Had I not asked the driver to pull over once for pictures, he never would have. However the driver did point out a few things. Driver was polite and pleasant so no complaints.

Wonderful tour of the Amalfi Coast.

Nice drive along the coast with Nina. He was great, friendly, funny and knew everything about everything! Perfect English. Stayed engaged the entire day. He was able to add a 45 minute boat tour of the coast (his idea) which was the best part of the day. Beautiful tour! The winter season meant that the roads were not crowded and not a lot of tourists.

Fabulous Amalfi Coast Tour

We had a lovely tour with our driver Nino on the Amalfi Coast. We spent time in Sorrento, Amalfi and Ravello. Because it is the off season, we did not have large crowds to contend with so we could spend longer times at each site. Nino was able to give us some history while traveling from place to place and was very helpful every place we visited. We highly recommend Nino and this tour.

A wonderful day, seeing all the sites we dreamt about. Nino was a great driver and took us to the best parts. We stopped for breathtaking photos. We were dropped a minute from prime locations. Excellent Driver and Tour

The restaurant Nino our driver took us to overlooking Revello had stunning views! He also took us to a ceramic shop that had far better prices then in Sorrento ! Bought a whole set of plates and had them shipped home.

Not as advertised, punished by driver for not going to certain businesses

We arrived at the meeting stop at 8:11. Our guide indicated we were late, although our tickets said 8:30. Six people in the van, their tickets said 8:15. Positano, got there so early everything was closed. Almalfi, our driver and a man in a NASA jacket tried to get us to take a cruise for €20 each. No one wanted to. Then the driver said, no cruise, then we spend only 1 hour in Almalfi, the tour we paid for specified 2 hours, he did not care. We paid to enter the church even though the tour said it was included. NASA jacket said, 2 hours in Ravelo, it’s much better. Arrived in Ravello, NASA jacket and driver tried to get us to eat in a specific restaurant (we would pay separate from tour) no one wanted to. You won’t eat at this restaurant, then you are punished with only 1 hour in Ravello. The people in our group talked him into 1 hr 20 minutes. We returned to Sorrento at 3:30. When we got somewhere, driver parked, pointed and said, “town center.” That’s it. He said “coast” and pointed about 3 times while driving. Otherwise he said nothing. I felt strong armed, lied to, and I was exhausted by the attempts to cheat me, there was no tour. I could have taken the city bus to each city and saved a ton of money. It was not like the description at all. Very ugly behavior by the tour operators that left a terrible taste in the mouths of everyone on the tour.

It is not small is a standard size for a semi private otherwise it should be a minibus, but it would no longer respect the maximum number of people we guarantee. It was a good experience seeing the amalfi coast. We couldn’t do the recommended boat tour due to weather. When we stopped for lunch some people had it included and if not it was out of pocket. Wish I knew this in advance. Overall it was a nice all day on the amalfi coast.
