We set off on our tour learning about the history and art of Sorrento. Then, after an excellent Limoncello Spritz, we enjoyed antipasti with wine, lasagne with craft beer, chocolate and limoncello tastings,, and finished with gelato. Our guide was entertaining and professional. Recommended

This tour was a miss.

We thought this was a small group tour but the two of us showed up to our first night in Sorrento and were met by a very nice, but new to the guide business, host. So it was only us two and the guide. It became apparent immediately that this was not a planned out event on our first stop for some lemon drink. Nothing was explained to us as to what we were having and we had no idea as to what was coming next and it was simply awkward. So much so that our guides brother showed up to help him show us around. It was nothing like we signed up for and when we texted the host, Simona, our thoughts on the experience, she chose to just say sorry but not offer any sort of financial retribution. This tour was a miss. But I will say that the guide and his brother were nice men, we just did not get what we paid for and were not rightfully compensated in anyway.

Sadly, this trip is canceled due to lack of participation. So, I was not able to go on a tour to review it. I will say they let me know two days in advance which I appreciated

Really enjoyed this tour, and our guide was very nice and was very informative. We had the best limencello spritz ever, and in fact went back the next day to get it again! Only minor complaint was that it started later than originally planned, so we didn't really eat any food until 8 pm. Not a ton of food, but we sort of expected that, but overall would recommend this for sure.

Very disappointing

This is a tour I was really looking forward to after reading previous reviews. However it was very disappointing. The tour was to start at 17.00 but due to a family emergency ( which I'm very sympathetic to) it didn't start till 19.00. My partner and I hadn't eaten before the tour as we thought (after reading the reviews) that it we'd be well fed on the tour. This was not the case, after a bit of a historical tour of the town we made our first stop where we were given a drink and packet of crisps. The second stop was at a local delie where we were given a few bites of cheese and meat. The third was at a craft beer bar where we were given a bite of ricotta cheese and the last was an ice-cream shop for a scoop of gilatto . The tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable, but all in all for the price of this tour it really wasn't worth it. I paid far less on a Pompeii tour with a visit to a winery which was amazing and the food and wine we had were fantastic. I wouldn't recommend this tour at all.

Extremely disappointed in this tour. Two of the places we stopped for food were places that were free items that were being given away as free samples to everyone. One other restaurant was a bag of chips for food. The tour guide was friendly but did not give us much details about city, etc..We have used Viator numerous times before but will definitely be more hesitate to ever use them again.

If you are visiting Sorrento, this tour would be a great way to see the town on day one! Our guide Laura showed us some delicious food spots and even let us try a local craft beer restaurant. Hands down the best part of the experience were the limoncello spritzes over by the Marina Garnde.

Desiree was the most sweet and patient guide. She gave us an incredible mixed tour of culture and food tastings. She was very knowledgeable of the different types of food and chose the best places for us and everything was delicious. We started on time and it was easy to find the meeting point. Our guide Marco, was awesome. He was a local who had a real love of Sorrento and knew everybody. Sorrento was super cute town and the food every place we stopped was delicious! We ended at a really pretty waterfront restaurant at sunset which we really enjoyed. It was a little pricey, but was a really great day overall.
