Herman was very good. The Vasa museum was outstanding. However there was last minute notice that the tour could not start at 12:30 which had been requested and approved weeks ago. Also there were 2 hours of walking that was not indicated in the tour description.

No driving just stairs and walking

We picked this tour because we understood that this was a driving tour. Instead we walked and took public ferry for most of the touring. Even when we expressed that some in our group had physical ailments that made stairs and that much walking an issue. We clocked 6 flights and over 15k steps. One of our guest had to take to bed due to severe discomfort after our tour. Additionally we were charged 150 Euros for a pick up at port yet we were able to Uber back for 63$. Lastly tour guide was not a fit for our family and seemed condescending to us.

First of all you for got to mention that you paid your additional amount of 150€ for additional service of pick up from port of Nyneshamn which is 65km from Stockholm. Normally pick up is free around Stockholm area ports and Hotels but it was originally your request even we gave you instructions how to get to Stockholm by train you asked us to bring the car and offered to pay extra. For the second: yes with our sightseeing tour not only car driving around. We do need to walk inside the museums. We need to walk in Old town center (driving in historical part forbitten). We did panoramic by car around most beautiful panoramic points but you also forget to mention it. Yes we did use As a part of the tour ferry to get from one museum to another but car and driver was always following us and waiting at the points. We are really sorry our guide didn’t fit your expectations. Kindly asking All potential customers Who are not able to step out of car at the attraction points: this tour is not for you. Exceptional Tour

The “Vasa,” Stockholm City Hall, and Old Town we’re among the things we saw. Our guide, Kate, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable (and I asked a lot of questions!) and obviously loved her subject. She was punctual, enthusiastic, and gave us a wealth of information, from the old to the new. I recommend this tour highly and if you’re lucky enough to have Kate as a guide, prepare to fall in love with Stockholm under her tutelage. Fantastic!

Herman was an excellent guide during our private tour of Stockholm. He swiftly evaluated our degree of mobility and my wife's medical condition which limited her ability to climb stares and up hills. He tailored our tour to accommodate these conditions. The tour of the Varsa Museum was especially excellent. Herman's knowledge of the recovered sailing ship was very helpful. He personal experiences touring the museum were very helpful. Herman was very helpful assisting us to return at the end of the tour and his willing assistance in locating a restaurant that would be convenient to my wife's needs was much appreciated. I would be pleased to recommend your tour company in the future.

Stockholm from the port in 4 hours

We were picked up by a wonderful guide right at the cruise port as promised. The car was clean and water was Provided. We ask for a slight deviation from our privy tour and was accommodated with a smile. We had a lovely tour. The ship is a must see!!

Overpriced- not much value for money, except for a great tour guide.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. He gave us good company and kept us entertained throughout the trip. Overall the experience was great. However, the tour is somewhat overpriced given that within the four hour period we were mostly driven around the city and the old town, showing the city hall, royal museum, and the Skansen just from the outside. The only place we got to see inside was the Vasa museum where we had to pay the entry fee separately. The car was clean and complimentary water and snacks were provided.

What a wonderful day provided by Kate!

This was our first time on a cruise and setting up a tour outside of the cruise company, and it did not disappoint! Kate and Mark were prompt and on time, the vehicle was immaculate and after a short discussion of our additional viewing locations, we were off. Mark was a wonderful drive and maneuvered through city streets like a pro. Kate was a horn of plenty when it came to information and insight to her loved country of Sweden. The team took us to some special locations that have the best views for photo ops and not to mention an added bonus of a film location for the original “Girl with the dragon tattoo”. Kate really knew her stuff and provided us a wealth of information and insight, and it was well received! We were additionally serenaded by Mark, providing a beautiful rendition of a traditional Swedish song. After driving from place to place, collection a ton of photos and information, we were dropped off back at the cruise ship with time to spare. To not take this tour, I am afraid you could not say that you “saw” Stockholm, but only visited. Our thanks to our new found friends, Kate and Mark and we recommend this tour to anyone that really wants to “know” about Stockholm.

Magical personalized intro to Stockholm history and culture

The tour can be personalized and can conducted at your pace. The guide is so knowledgeable that she can tailor what she tells you to your interests. We learned quite a lot about Stockholm's history and got great advice on places to visit in the future. (I recommend this as your first activity). And we did avoid all lines to the museums. The tour begins in a luxury coach, which allows them to introduce Stockholm and provide an overview of the city, its geography, history and culture. They stopped at a stunning overview, where we could take a photo of Stockholm. The driver was an accomplished singer and a captivating performer. He sang two songs for us that were written by famous, historically significant Swedes. (The Swedes love their music and singers). Most memorable was him singing a dramatic song of legendary Swedish singer Evert Taube in Evert Taubes terrace. After the one-hour car ride, we went to visit the Gustav Vasa followed by the Skansen open-aie museum. The tours were informative. We ended exactly at 1:00 pm. The reader will want to know that although you are picked up at your hotel, you are not dropped off. The tour guide did tell us how to get home, and she also walked us to the ferry and helped us get on. We lived the ferry ride, and we enjoyed it. It was only a short walk to the hotel from the landing. However, if you wanted to go directly to the hotel, I would ask the guide to call a taxi.

A TOTAL VIATOR DISASTER

Nice people (guides), wife and husband. They were great to be with and did a very nice job. But they were simply hired by Viator. Not their fault, we're sure, but they thought we bought a 3 hour tour and we thought we bought a 5 hour tour. Viator said 4. Nothing Viator said was correct. Viator said we would get dropped off at airport, included in the price - WRONG. Viator said driver would call us when he arrived at ship - WRONG. In fact, Viator sent us a message asking what time we wanted to be picked up after we bought a 9:00 am pickup. Then they asked where our ship was and what the name was -- after we had already supplied that. We will NEVER use Viator again for ANYTHING. We didn't even get offered water or a snack during the 4 hours - Viator said both were included. The cost was way more than the experience was worth. Viator must take a huge chunk off the top. We feel totally ripped off.

What a fantastic tour from beginning to end! Georg met us at the airport right on time and gave us a good introduction to Stockholm on the ride into the city, then we picked up Kate and had an absolutely wonderful tour of the city. Kate helped us to skip the line and see the most important areas at the museums we visited, and she guided us through the best photo stops and sights in the main city as well as the old town. Both Kate and Georg were so knowledgeable and friendly, they were perfect ambassadors of their city and I recommend them very highly, especially for first time visitors or those arriving early in the morning from a long flight who need to stay active and engaged to avoid jet lag, as we were!
