We decided last minute to take a Catamaran tour and we are so glad we did! This tour was so relaxing, fun and memorable! Our guides were so friendly and fun! The food and drinks were delicious, and the swimming/snorkeling was such fun. They crew never seemed rushed or stressed, they made it enjoyable for the whole group aboard! It was a beautiful day, we saw whales in the distance and the sunset at the end was everything we could have imagined.

Great vibes and Beautiful Sunset

Friendly atmosphere , great mix of music and ages onboard, felt safe, ok drinks; watered down for a reason lol, and most important got to swim in the ocean and saw the Sunset on a Catamaran; Beautiful. Price compared to other companies was very reasonable; food was really good on the Catamaran.

Beautiful sunsets but more geared to younger crowd

Positives: Food was good. Crew was friendly and wanted to ensure people were having a good time. Sunset was beautiful. Better for a younger crowd. Negatives for me and my friends who are in the 55+ club: Sails were not deployed which was a big disappointment. We stopped at a beach but there was no transportation from the boat to the beach. You either had to climb down a very steep set of metal stairs between the nets, or jump off the side of the catamaran, and swim to the beach. Several people were not comfortable with doing that and stayed on the boat. Music was geared toward a younger crowd which is fine but it was played at a loud volume that made it hard to hear others talking.

This could have been a great experience, but the crew was disorganized and we waited around for over an hour to get loaded & underway. They booked too many people and it wasn’t easy to get around on the catamaran. The food & drinks were excellent, but the unloading in the dark in choppy water was hazardous.

Workers were very friendly. Felt very safe the entire time. Great selection of drinks for the open bar and the workers on the boat would come by asking if you needed a drink frequently. It was a beautiful tour and we got a chance to swim in the ocean and up to shore to see some monkeys. Highly recommend.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. The crew was very inviting and personable. The drinks (open bar) and lunch were delicious. Including crew, there was maybe 30 people on board, so not too crowded- plenty of room for everyone. The view of the sunset was unforgettable. Would do this tour over and over again.

This was a low quality booze cruise. The ship wasn't large enough for the number of passengers and it was not a nice boat. The food, beverages and equipment was all low quality.

The sailing, swimming, and food were all super good! We sailed to a private area, dropped anchor and swam for an hour. After swimming we had a yummy lunch before heading back! The water is so blue and the staff is extremely friendly. Refilling your beverages right away! Highly recommend!

Was quite a drive from our hotel but worth it. Great guides who were lots of fun and kept us stocked up on drinks. Water was too cloudy to snorkel because of the season, but still got to swim and soak up the sun. Also got a beautiful sunset.

We loved the boat, captains, scenary and snorkeling. It started raining pretty hard so our snorkel time was cut short. The food and fruit was great. My favorite part was the banana bread. Amazing Costa Rican sunset as usual.

Motoring rather than sailing

We saw three impressive, humpback whales blowing and surfacing very near our boat during our return trip. Fantastic experience. Being an avid sailor, I was disappointed that this was primarily a motor launch experience rather than a wind powered sailing adventure. With some persuasion, the captain did unfurl the jib sale for the last 30 or 40 minutes of the ride home, but continued using engine power as well. Our catamaran did not even have a main sail and the captain said has not had one for several years. If we had truly sailed, I’d have rated 5-stars. The captain and crew were very pleasant and helpful in serving our full load of passengers drinks, and food. Perhaps they should have limited the alcohol for some passengers who became quite inebriated. My wife was on crutches for a broken bone in her foot and the crew was exceptionally helpful in assisting her onto the boat and accommodating her disability.

We had a great time on the boat trip. There was plenty of drinks and food. The views of the sunset were great from the catamaran. The trip was well organised and the staff were really friendly and always made sure everyone had a drink and everything they needed. We would definitely recommend for a fun day out!

on the website the tour was available and then they inform me in the morning, that the tour is booked out. after we want to change the date and they confirmed me. when the tour was, they didn‘t know about de change of the tour.

Trip could be improved

The tour did not begin well for us. The directions said to meet at El Chiringuito Restaurant. Our hotel said by walking down the beach we would see their sign. There is no sign on the beach side and the restaurant is set back under trees. We walked back and forth on a hot beach until a friendly vendor took us to it. Other tours had a flag indicating where to meet. We did meet the owner who was very pleasant, and the tour employees in company shirts were wonderfully helpful, fun, and attentive to our needs (one of the party was 75). However, there were at least 5 men on board who did not appear to be paying passengers, nor company workers. One big black guy in a gray shirt we were told was an employee, but it was his day off. He drank beer or shots almost continuously, tried to hook up with 2 young girl customers, sat on the hatch to the women'S bathroom so that anyone using the facility had to go between his legs, their head brushing his crotch. He seemed to get in the way of the workers, and incited lewd jokes with the other men hanging around. The music was continuous and way too loud, unable to have conversation with friends. Just hearing the wind in the sails would be nice. There was no sanitizer in the bathroom, although there was an empty container lying on its side, and no running water with soap. There was also no sanitizer to use on deck before meal, and crew sliced pineapple with bare hands before distributing to passengers. We were taken to snorkel off a beach....no marine life was seen there. The food was very good, but not really a lunch when served after 4pm. There was plenty of food and drinks. The crew did ensure we did see a nice sunset.

This tour was very enjoyable although the ride to the snorkeling area was longer than expected. Because of that we thought the sights in the water would be more extensive. The crew was great, the refreshments and drinks were great...the views were gorgeous. The 4 of us do recommend this tour. HOWEVER, we were unaware that there were 2 boats, one of which could have enabled our 5th person to join us. She had to go back because the boat we were assigned required going up a side ladder that needed the ability to bend a knee(no Information about handicap support)...still waiting to hear about the issue. We’ve used Viator in Argentina as well....thanks for a great experience!
